Default Blog Etiquette Question

I have done and will be doing several craft shows this season and I have a sign up sheet where people can sign up for my mailing list/newsletter. My question is...Do you think it would be okay to subscribe these people to my blog??

What do you think?

Thanks

If they give you an email address ... I would suggest sending them a link for subscription and they can choose whether or not to subscribe.

Some people get their blogs via a reader service RSS (like google) and others will get their blog updates via email - and others won't want to get a regular update.

I'd say get their emails and then let them choose :-)

Thanks for responding. I appreciate the input.

I would put a box next to their email address asking them if they would like to be subscribed to your blog.

I agree with this. I would hate to be automatically subscribed to something. But if I was asked first, I might agree.

I definitely agree. Signing them up automatically may have a negative impact. On a good note that's great that you have their interest.
