Help with my blog columns

Can anyone help???
My blog is on Blogspot.
I got my template from:
The cutest little blog on the block.

I would like my content to be in 3 columns.
I went to the CLBOTB website and clicked on the 3 columns templates, but it did not change my content to 3 columns, I just got a new Fall Themed background.

This is the three column template that I used on my blog. I did tweak the width of the columns though.

Using this will not affect your background. But as a precaution, save your existing html code before you make any changes.
