Default Help with Hidden Pages

I recently signed up with typepad. I want to create some pages that remain hidden. This way, only the people I give the url to will be able to find it. I've been told that you can do this on typepad, but I can't find the information on how to do it. It's probably something simple, but I am just not seeing it. Can anyone help me out?

As far as I can tell, you can't have hidden pages. You can make pages and just not give out the URL.

If you want to password your blog, you can do that, but then viewers would need a password to view.

If you have the Typepad option in which you get more than one blog, perhaps you can start a new blog just for the password protected pages?

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

i've just started researching blogging. my *extremely* limited knowledge is that you need to disable the "thing" (see my great knowledge base showing through) that automatically shows your pages on the side column. then whatever pages you have will be "hidden" unless you specifically post the link there. i think

In typepad you can have PAGES - these are not posts. Go to the DESIGN tab of your blog. Then click on the SELECT CONTENT tab. Under sidebar modules there will be a listing for Pages. Just make sure that it is not checked. If it is not checked, your pages will not be available unless the reader is specifically directed there by a link.
I think that I heard that the option of PAGES is only available to Plus subscribers and higher. If it is available to you, you will see a 'Create a new page' under your Compose tab.

Hope this helps!
