Funky Symbols

I just created a blog today! Yipee........However, I have these funky little symbols next to where it has "my profile" and "comments". They kinda look like a wrench and something else. When I click on them I'm not real sure what it means. Could someone help me out here? My new blog is
creativecraftsbylynn.blogspot.com and you can see them there and know what I'm talking about.

I think I just figured out where they were coming from and what they are for! Don't worry though, I'm sure I'll be posing alot more questions. This is really a "learning process'.

Hi Lynn! Just visited your blog...wonderful! It would be much easier for folks to get to your blog if you add the address in your signature line here. You can do it by adding a link in your sig line. If you need help, just ask! Good luck and blessings to you!

How do you add a link in the signature line? I'm just really kinda "lost" on all of this!

I'm no expert either, but I will try to "walk" you through it!
At the top of this page on the right , you should see the words "Welcome jimlynn"
Click on that!

You will then see a list of items on the left and you want to click on "edit signature"

Now, go to your blogsite and copy the address from the bar at the top.

Go back to your edit form and type in the name of your blog. And anything else you want in that area like your name

Highlight your blog name by dragging the mouse over it

Go to the top of the form and look for the line that starts with "B"

Follow that line across and you will see an icon that looks like a globe with chainlink over it. I think it is third or fourth from the end. Click on that!

When the window pops up, paste your blog address into that window. Click OK

Now all you have to do is save and publish! And you are done! It may seem confusing with the terms and all but you will see what I mean as you go through. If something doesn't work, no worry you can edit. Hope this helps and Good Luck!

At the bottom of this it says "show your signature" and the box is checked, so, I'm going to try this! Wish me luck.

Vicki, when I upload a card will I need to go through that again, or does it automatically keep that "show your signature" box checked?

It will always show your sig when you post unless you UNcheck the box. Go in there and play around when you can. You can even change the style of type and the color! Have a blast!!

Don't know what happened here but I just uploaded a card and mentioned my blog. I thought it would show it at the end, but it didn't. What do I need to do to get it in there when I upload a card? Thanks
