Default Favorite Blogs> Some pointers?

Ok - I'm sooooo new to this, and I just downloaded the Google Reader. I'm ready to subscribe to some blogs. But it seems that almost everybody on SCS has a blog - without hurting anybodys feelings, - could anyone suggest maybe a few for me to start with? I found one called Dawns Rubber Room that I have subscribed to and I like it - and now I want more. Can anyone send me off in the right direction?

I'm not at home right now, so I don't have my blog list here. But I will put some in later for you. Also, once you have some in Google Reader, you can click on Recommendations, and it will suggest similar ones to check out.

I think the best way to find blogs that you like is to start clicking on blogs in other people's blog rolls. That's how I found many of the ones I subscribe to. You'll have an endless trail of blogs to look at if you go that route.

Theresa,

Thanks so much for your list. I went to every single one of them. And bookmarked most of them, subscribed to one of them (the first one - awesome!).

I have been playing around for about 2 hours now with the brayer technique. I think I've almost got it.

So much fun. Thanks again.

I agree with SDiegoGal... I just jump around on the blogs of those that I've found that I really love and look through who they go to. It's on the right hand side of mine if you want to look through any of them! There are lots of great ones for inspiration out there!

If I have enough time, I like to check out blogrolls. It's kinda hit or miss if you get something (a certain style) that you really like. It all depends on your personal preferrences!
Having said that, here are a few of my faves that weren't listed yet:
Kristina Werner (she does a video every Monday!)
Becca (go back & check out what she did with a corner punch)
Jay for all things die related
Tim, of course!

and
Crafty Storage for great ideas on storage.

and then choose from there. I like blogs that are easy to read, colorful and the first thing I see is an incrediable piece of artwork. I have many many good blogs on my blog roll......and I love them all for different reasons. I've learned a lot too. And the best blog is those with a "GREAT" tutorial on how to teach you how to make what they are showing!!

GOOD LUCK - - you find that link and start on page one - - get to the end and you'll be so addicted you'll go there daily like the rest of us (daily - - who am I kidding - - more than once a day - we love "newbies"!! lol)

I find new blogs all the time! Start out with the blog roll of one that you like and just start clicking... hours later... you will have visited some AWESOME sites. Just bookmark or subscribe to the ones you like best!

Good luck building a blogroll... mine is a never ending list! LOL

I have some great blogs on my blogroll if you want to visit my blog and check them out. I tend to want to save every blog I visit!

You can also check the gallery and then see if makers of the cards you like have a blog.
