Ok how do you all like it. Is it a easy prgram to use. Do you get alot of fees. Do you have to mark up cards alot to over fees.... How do you all figure out shipping. Do you make a flat rate or chage by the weight..... any tips on selling the cards on there would be great. I am trying to put a small shop together to make some band trip money for my daughter.

what have you thought about shipping? did you set rates yet for each one . Do you go by actual weight and just charge them that ?

I have friends that have ETSY shops and they incorporate the cost of shipping into the price (that way they can advertise "free shipping" as a draw for customers).

Thanks I was looking at some shops and looked at prices and thought they may do that some. For what they were charging.

To be honest, sell cards on Etsy seems to be really difficult, the market there is really saturated. I've only sold one card and it was collaged not stamped. I'm having much better luck selling my collage art, atc's, and collage jewelry then cards there right now.
Etsy is really easy to use as a seller but you have to promote yourself alot off site, your items get buried so fast it's hard for some to just stumble upon you. Plus you usually need to relist (which means more fees) to keep your items at the top of the search lists.
As far as shipping goes, I just took a few items to the PO to find out how much they cost and set an average (including packing fees, gas, etc).
