Do you know how to retrieve a blogger account name that you once had but deleted the whole account and after four months the name still isn't available, do you know how to get it back? Thanks!

If you type that blogger address in the URL bar does it come up as blog not found or as a used blog?

yes, because I deleted it and the whole account about four months or so ago and the name still hasn't come available..

I hope I'm wrong in saying this but I think that means someone else is using the name. Try typing it in your search engine and see what comes up!

the name doesn't come up, if it were available or taken they say on their forum that it would let you know. I really don't think there's a way as a lot of the forums keep saying once you delete an account it's locked. I guess I have lost it for now, that's ok, my mistake and lesson to learn. Thanks hun!

So you not only deleted the blog but the account too? From what I read if you had just deleted the blog you could reclaim it through the account but if you delete the account the url is lost and cannot be claimed by anyone again.
