Default Is a copyright disclaimer enough?

I recently discovered one of my photo showcased on a web-site and they never asked for my permission. Does anyone know if having a disclaimer in your sidebar is enough or should I look into a watermark? Where do I go about getting a watermark? and is it easy to do myself?
Thanks in advance for any help!

First, you should contact the website and demand they remove your photo - or pay you a licensing fee to use it. Second, you can either make your own watermark (just google watermark and Photoshop or whatever you photo editing software is) or you can buy one. I know Freckled Fun sells them.

Hello Jen,

Take a look at this article. Hope it helps. I just made a watermark for my cards that I photo and post on my blog.

Copyright Explained: I May Copy It, Right?
