OK, I thought I would experiment with different templates and managed to mess up my blog... :( I can't see how many comments I have and there are a bunch of links at the end of my post I want to get rid of. I tried a different template but then didn't like it and when I went back to my old I get this stuff I don't want... Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them?

Angie, I wish I could help! It seems that everything is working. I was able to leave comment. I hope you can get some help soon. Blessings to you!
I will try. I thought maybe I had inavertantly added the make money thing, but I don't think that is right. I am also going to see if I can get my old one at home back up. I don't have a problem in the classic templates but in the newer I seem to... sigh,...

For the comments issue: I would suggest is to go to your layout. Find the link that says "Edit" in the "Blog posts" box. Make sure that the comments box is checked.
If that doesn't help, go to Settings==>Comments and make sure all of the choices make sense.
For the extra links: I'm assuming you're talking about the fact that each post shows a bunch of icons for linking (ex. delicious). Go back to Settings. Pick Formatting. Scroll down and check if you have anything in the Post template. Whatever is in here will show up on every post.
Don't know if any of these suggestions helped but feel free to pm me if you need more help.
All the comment things seem right. I am just frustrated more so becasue if I do the classic template everything works good and when I update to the new template I get all the extras... I am going to fool around some more with it tonight... Thanks for the tips to check for! I may be PMing you in the next couple days! ;)
To modify all the things in your blog footer there are a few things you can do but first you can try going to Layout then Page Elements. IN the Blogs Post area, click the pencil/edit. Then you can see Post Page options where you can check off what items to show.
Otherwise, if that doesn't work, you have to edit it in code. Layout-Edit HTML, then check on Expand Widgets and search your the area "post-footer" and you'll see the code that relates to quick edits, labels, etc. Just be careful. I'd recommend Download Template (to back up your template) before playing with the code.
I don't know what I'm doing on my blog. I have no idea how to put my blog name on my template. Do I have to use the templates they suggest on blogger? {sigh}
