Default Uploading pix to Blogger ... grrr

Does anyone else have this problem? When I upload pix to Blogger, sometimes they're instant, sometimes the thingy just spins and spins for ages before the pic uploads, sometimes it just spins until I give up and sometimes it starts spinning and then "locks". It's a lottery with pretty poor odds at the moment. :(

Yes, I have had that problem.
I now use Window's Live Writer--It seems to work a lot better and I don't lose posts anymore. (sometimes I would click the wrong button and lose a post)

There is a bit of a learning period, but it has been worth it to me!

With Blogger I find that my jpegs upload a lot faster than other picture formats-- sometimes other formats do that spinning thing you described forever, but if I cancel that and re-save the pic as a jpeg, it loads pretty quickly.

I've had other issues with photos and blogger, but not that particular one. Possibly your photo files are very large? I usually resize my cards to around 600x400 and other photos to around 800x600 and they are saved as jpg files. I used to have lots of issues like you describe when I had dial up connection.

Perhaps it's my broadband connection then? I do resize them all to 500 wide so it can't be that. I assume I can't use Windows Live Writer as I don't use Windows (I'm on an iMac).

Looks like I'll just have to persevere. :(
