You have to subscribe to your own blog, and then in the upper right corner it will say "details" or something like that. Click on it and it will show your subscriber numbers. You can also check the details on other blogs to see how many subscribers they have!

They do different things. Reader keeps all your blog subscriptions in one place, and analytics gives you data about your own blog.

I find I get more comments on my blog when I comment on other's. Have you tried that?

My blog is with wordpress and wordpress provides a ton of stats on traffic to my blog, where they come from, what they click on, averages and a lot more.
