I'm wanting to know the pro and cons to this idea. If you have done this can you provide instructions on how to complete this task. I would like when I post to my blog be able to inport that information into my facebook page.

On the site it gives you pretty good and easy instructions on how to set it up. You can easily set up how often it checks to see if you've posted, I think mine is set to refresh ever 2 hours but you can have it set to be instant. I just love that I don't have to copy & paste so when I do a bunch of blogs ahead of time that little app posts automatically for me, saves time and I don't have to worry about forgetting to post.
as several above mentioned i also use Networked Blogs Facebook apps, it allows me to publish instantly to my facebook profile page as well as my facebook fan page.

There is also SHARE button on the top bar of Blogger. It gives you a drop down box and you can pick FaceBook from there. I do mine that way. I don't use the Networked Blogs app because I don't want to post everything I make to FaceBook.

I do link my blog to Facebook each time I have a new post. As soon as I publish a post, I go to "view post", then highlight the http address, click cut and post it to Facebook. It gives you the option of which photo you'd like (from the current post) to appear as the thumbnail.
I'm not familiar with networked blogs. I'll have to try that!
I once was linked to have my posts go to Facebook. Then for some (totally unreasonable reason) I decided I didn't want to put myself out there to my 'friends' on facebook. I realize that my blog is still accessible since it's on the internet, I just didn't want to advertise my posts. Does that make any sense?
Anyhow, I would not mind having it connected to Networked Blogs but don't want it to post to my facebook page. Does anybody know if this is a possibility?
I stumbled across this thread by accident, but thank you all so much for this info- I now have my blog posts feeding onto my Facebook page. I used the RSS Graffiti | Facebook link, as when I tried the FB app, it couldn't find anything at the URL, but this one works fine. I have wanted to do this for ages, but didn't know how, and I had never even thought to try the 'Share' button at the top-doh:rolleyes:

Gale,
Did you confirm that you're the author of your blog? Seems that I had to wait for that to happen before my posts were automatically posted to FB.
I agree, though, that it's just as easy to copy/paste your link each time and it's nice that you get to choose the photo that's used.
Although - I do think my readership is up since I joined networked blogs.

oh my how stupid I feel. I've been blogging a year and never even noticed the share button on the top. I do use networked blogs though

I'm not sure if that's possible or not but I kinda felt the same way when I first linked up with networked blogs and oh I didn't want to bother all my friends with it but I get all their fishworld, farmville, frontierville, mafia wars, iheart, ismile stuff in my newsfeed so I figured if they didn't want to see it they could choose to block the networked blog app like I did the game apps.

Isn't that the truth! I was so glad when I learned that you could block all those games, etc!
By the way, I have discovered that you can only share your blog on FB if you use the http connection, not the more secure https- I had shared mine, then about a week ago, switched FB to https, and only realised today that my blog posts weren't being shared- had a browse through Fb, and found that this was why, so I have gone back to http- I don't post anything on Fb anyway that is important, so the security won't make a difference. Thought I'd post in case anyone else has problems;)

I switched to the https FB connection a couple of weeks ago, and my blog is still being published to my FB page through networked blogs....????
