I'm a Blogger and Typepad guru, but it really depends on what you are focusing on when using your blog. Are you just posting about techniques, projects, samples, upcoming events or promotions? Or is your main focus selling kits and tutorials? Blogger, Typepad and WordPress all have a "pages" feature to setup an online store. All have great functionality. So it depends also on your budget. Blogger is exceptional with what it can do for free! See my blog,
Welcome to Hand Stamped By Heather, which is a Blogger blog with 3 columns, paypal buttons, kits for sale, navigation bar and drop down menu and more. Blogger can do it all, for FREE. But Typepad does have some cool features blogger does not yet have, but I think you could get away with it.
Best wishes and success!
