Morning friends.

Kelly & Shelly, so sorry for your ailments! Both sound awful. Prayers already said - and for your mom too, Shelly.

I'm dreading the dinner tonight. But am going anyway. I think the dread is just childish fear of the emotions that may come up. Usually when these emotional situations are on the horizon the build up is worse than the actual day/event. Besides, the emotions are with me anyway and I stifle them down until they are unbearable. Then I fall apart. That's why I call it messy.

Oh dear me Darlene, I am so sorry you, or anyone for that matter, has to face the situation where you have lost a child. I cannot imagine it and cannot know the depth of your pains. I think a support group is a great idea- I am all for them. There you will find others that have been blanketed in the anguish only you share. I will keep you in prayers today. I think you will be a huge asset to the group.

My sister's son is going to see a specialist - his fate is uncertain, but she does not think with his blood disorder that he will have a long life. They still cannot put a finger on exactly what is wrong with him. I would find that soooo stressful! God is in control and has a plan.....

Mom woke up with a temp and is really wheezing. So we headed off to doc and now home with steroids and an antibiotic. The family that wheezes together.......

Kelly- praying for your quick healing- isn't that scary! Your hiking adventure sounds really fun though!

Have a wonderful rest of your day to all!

Oh- I remember the other name for the Brusho's- Color Burst.

Shelly

Ohh Kelly that is nasty - praying for a rapid recovery!!

Shelly that does not sound good to have another cold/chest infection - praying for you too.

Jeanette it's good to hear you and Brock are going well - will you have to shave him this time around??

Maggie I trust the balance of your research goes well and you can find what you want.

Darlene it 's good to see you popping by more frequently - hope the meeting went well and that you felt comfortable there

Kristie and Kel - trust all is well with you two, and with Lyn also - i think of you often and wonder how life is treating you.

Bit of a blah day today after a good couple - I have to start writing in the acknowledgement cards after making so many of them!!

I went to an "Art in Fibre" festival yesterday (no quilting as I had mistakenly thought) with my Sister in Law - the display was breathtaking, but as the seller area was mainly focused toward spinners and weavers, I didn't buy much - just some hand made soaps for the 'pressie' draw, and some lavendar creme.

I had meant to stop and visit a friend in the town where my SIL lives before I trundled back home, but forgot and came straight home - so glad I did as there was a major accident on the highway between the two towns about the time I would have been driving home had I stayed.

Tinker is settling down well, but was a bit loopy this morning - maybe it was because he slept on my bed??
Waving to you all from a damp Down Under

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

Darlene, I'm anxious to hear how it went... hopefully it wasn't dreadful, but instead was a relief to be able to be among those who can better understand the depth of your heartache.

Shelly, I am sorry your Mom is getting worse. I am sure you will take care of her lovingly... and she'll soon be able to breathe better. So sad about your nephew's situation, too. (((HUGS)))

Maxine, it's good that God helped you to forget so that you got home safely! Oh, my yes... I have shaved Brock now for the past 3 nights and he's looking mighty fuzzy. YIKES! I am so horrible at that task. Sheesh!

Barb, I saw you peeked in, too... Hi!

Leaving a trail of friendly (((HUGS)))

Good Morning Ladies--Happy Friday! For some reason, it does not feel like a Friday as it seems to be a shorter week for me--that never happens! I get to stay home all day today and play in the stamp room--no errands!!!! And, I am excited to say that I am on a new design team--The Project Bin. I have admired and bought their stamp sets for the past few months, thanks to my friend Kelly being on the team and showing off such wonderful cards. I love their sentiment stamps and they have now added matching dies to some of their sets. So today, on my blog, I get to show off my first DT card and every Friday I get to show you even more fun sets! Yay for me--and yes, I am tooting my own horn!

Have a Fantastic Friday and a great weekend. We are heading to a Strawberry Festival tomorrow--yum!

Morning friends!

Maxine, that Fibre Festival sounds very interesting! Too bad about visiting your friend, but as Jeanette said, glad that you avoided all of that mess on the drive home. Take your time writing your acknowledgements, it can be exhausting (or at least it was for me). You're not tardy with them so give yourself time.

Last night was...good??? not sure what the right description is...but I'm glad that I went. I don't know how often or when we may meet again but it was good to put faces with everyone. This is a new, closed group on FB, formed to support parents who've lost children to substance abuse. We share so many similar experiences - how the police treats families, how corrupt "safe" houses can be, the pervasive helplessness of a parent trying to save your child...it's a long list.

Shelly, I am deeply deeply sorry for the anguish your sister must be going through. The helplessness of a mother trying to save their child is a big hole. I will be praying for the family. Hope that your Mom gets to feeling better soon with the meds.

Kelly - HOW ARE YOU DOING??? Better I hope!

Peace & love to all of you.

Hi Darlene... thanks for checking in. I'd wondered how things went. I prayed it wouldn't be too difficult and would provide a place where fellow sufferers could join together for encouragement, love, and understanding.

Morning Jeanette, trust you and Brock are trundling along together OK.
Kelly have you survived the Everglades??
Maggie that bonus sounds wonderful!!
Waving from down under where the weather is turning cold and wet after a few balmy days, and I am off on a day trip with my sister in law to a fibre and quilting display / exhibition.
Yes, it is Maxine. There is a bright side to being a working girl sometimes.

Hope you had a fun outing.

I am on antibiotics, Prednisone and the nebulizer again. I have not lost my appetite (except for chocolate- makes me cough....). I ran a temp on Sunday night, woke up drenched on Mon AM. Mom has the cough, and throat tickle- she started it...LOL

I have not been able to stop though, she had PT and a dermatology appt Tuesday and then I had to get the house ready for the cleaning ladies today (the pick up : ) ). Today, had so many errands- she came with me Up at 7AM, out the door at 7:45, home at noon, Fed her lunch, then took a little nap. On the Prednisone, I have to admit that my neck and back feel fabulous.

In the summer, we have prayer group on Wednesday evening instead of AM, and we rotate homes. Tonight was here. It was very nice- a wonderful group of ladies- and we sure have alot to pray for. My mom loves the prayer groups- she was very active in them in Ky., and the ladies here are my age, but so very welcoming. My sis also stopped by and had dinner and the joined in the prayer group.

I know I am behind on the thread- I do read it on my phone, but it makes me sign in to SCS, and I cannot ever remember the password when using the phone- the computer saves the password. Wonder why that is...... I had an issue with my computer, hubby fixed it for me finally, so know can import and watermark cards. Wahoo!

Hugs to you Maxine, and you as well Darlene.

Darlene- I love your retirement ideas! We plan to move too- hubby says when he is 60, he wants to be able to work remotely...which means 3 years we would sell the house and head out. I would like to downsize, but what to get rid of- I do not think we need to clean this much house when there are only 2 living in it- well, Mom here now- 3 years is a long time from now. I want to rent first, and will have to be careful about where I live with all of my darned allergies! I think we will end up in Colorado somewhere : )

Barb- sounds like you are back and up and running right away!

Maggie- hope you are feeling better! How is it going with the butterflies this summer? I planted 5 milkweed plants- bought them from a home gardener that started them up and was selling them for $2.00 a plant, so I know there are no pesticides on them. I guess the distributors here are selling plants like the one you had last year that was killing your butterflies.

Kelly and Jeanette- hello again from the other thread!

I love brusho's- the Ken Oliver ones are called that- there is another name for the European ones I think- they are darker colors and the brusho's are more vibrant colors. I have not used them in a while. Maybe I will get them out tomorrow- if I get upstairs!

Hoping to actually get to blogs to visit tomorrow.

Shelly
Your prayer group sounds great. It's nice to have a circle of friends you can lean on at times. Hope you are feeling better. I still have a bit of the cough and a little congestion. I had to quit taking the cough medicine the doctor gave me. It was causing some other issues like heart palpitations and sleeplessness.

I'm so sad that I have not been able to play with my butterflies this year. I'm so engrossed in this genealogy class that I wouldn't have time for them anyway. The funny thing is that I have not seen any in my yard this year and I actually have about 5 nice looking Milkweed plants growing in my garden from last year and the butterflies haven't touched them. If I had some they would have devoured the plant leaves and they all look great. Everyone else I know who raises them has been doing great with them.

By the time we got to our 2nd can of OFF! we knew we weren't going to last long in the deep, deep pinelands. We hiked and hiked and had lunch overlooking the marsh ~ he was able to do some navigating sans compass as per his training Afterwards, I took him to the famous Robert is Here! shakes - a farmers market in the boonies that makes the most AMAZING shakes you'll ever have on this earth! Then a trip to Target to get him some new snorkeling gear for his boating trip on Sunday - tubing, water skiing, snorkeling with a friend of the family on their fancy boat

But then I noticed by dinner time the right side of my face was feeling a little .... tingly. Then it just burned. And in a hour or so, it was swollen and oh so painful!. I thought uh-oh, allergic reaction or possible bite. I gave it a few hours and it just kept getting worse I took some benadryl and went to bed because dd18 had an appt early in the morning to retake her driver's permit test (the one who refuses to drive! but she passed - yay!) I sat in the chair at the DMV with shades on, right eye so puffy it was swollen shut, nose in a book, looking like I went 3 rounds with Mike Tyson!

Dashed over to the Dr and she surprised me saying it wasn't an allergic reaction, but a bacterial infection, cellulitus. She said she said she was concerned and was going to treat it aggressively, so I'm on steroids and antibiotics and lovely eye drops and such. I'm hoping this clears up quickly, though it's a slow process, as I know from dh the outcome of what this can do. Yikes!

I can't even go hiking without coming back jacked up and it wasn't even the gators fault! LOL! I appreciate prayers for quick healing My son has an appt with a dermatologist today (after a 3 month wait, cannot cancel!) and then his Scouts Court of Honor tonight, ay yi yi. I'm among friends, but still ........ so uncomfortable.

Oh Shelly! I hate that you are sick again, my friend! Poor lady ... and mom, too. we lead similiar lives with the 'suck it up and get going anyway' mode of the week! Glad you were able to have prayer group, though. Moving - downsizing - I wonder if that will ever be us! I don't want to stay in Miami. AT. ALL. But then I fear my kids will stay and then the whole marriage, grandkids, be close to them thing .... dh knows my strong distaste of this area but he says we aren't going anywhere. The man has spoken

Maxine, cooler temps for you, I bet! We did survive the Everglades but wow, what a journey (and still on it!) I'm a curious sort - what are brushos? I'll investigate when I have more time, wonder if it will be the same as you mention. Yes, MUCH prefer Starbucks to the swamp, lol. I love an adventure but now look at the mess I'm in .... geeesh!

Darlene - what a wonderful group to find! I pray that it brings you solace, and comfort, and newfound support with friendships anew. It sounds like they are inviting and welcoming - what did you finally chose as an ap? Hugs!

Waving to everyone!

Off to bed for me - got up to do one thing and then started another and then just couldn't sleep at all. Gonna be a long day!
Yikes Kelly! Glad that you're adventure is over. Not sure if you could have survived much more. Glad you're going to be okay, but wow! How does that even happen?

Oh my Shelly. Sorry that now your mom is sick. Hope you are doing better. So very sorry to hear about your nephew. So tragic. How old is he now? I do hope that somewhere along the line the doctors can figure it all out and help him.

Hi everyone. Been a busy week here trying to get my project done that I need to turn in on Sunday. It's an Internet Scavenger Hunt and I've got 8 out of 10 things. Still need to work on finding those other 2 elusive items. It's very frustrating sometimes.

Boss went out of town yesterday so it was quiet at the office for 2 days. He'll be gone on Monday also.

I've had some car issues to deal with too. Not sure if I ever mentioned that the driver's side of my car was hit back in December - hit and run. I've put off getting it fixed - it's just such a hassle. Anyway, took it to a place to get the estimate for State Farm. I'm not using a State Farm facility to fix it. I don't really trust that they will do the right thing. I took the estimate last night to the place where I want to have the work done. I"ve used them before many years ago and I had already taken it by there to have them look at it and give me a ballpark estimate on fixing it so I knew what to expect. I have to coordinate dropping it off on Monday and having the rental car place come pick me up to get a car. The repair shop said it would take 6-7 business days to fix it, but he was going to order the parts that they will need while they were waiting for the car on Monday. Hopefully I'll get it back by the end of next week.

I've also been getting emails from Discount Tire that I need new tires. Took off an hour early yesterday and went by there. The technician who looked at the tires said that they were still in pretty good shape and since I don't drive it a whole lot they should be good for a few more months so I'm going to wait until after the summer to decide on that. I also have a recall notice on my car that needs to get fixed and the car needs to be serviced so after I get it repaired, I'll take it in for the service on it. Then I should be good to go for a long time.

I have a church thing in the morning with the Young Women and the a few errands. They are saying we'll have rain, but I hope it will hold off until after my errands get done. Speaking of rain, we were all geared up for Tropical Storm Cindy to hit the other night and we barely got any rain during the night and then it was just cloudy all during the next day. Never can trust what the weatherman tells you.

Hi all - Happy Flamingo Day! Enjoy - even if it's just one sitting in your front lawn Little man and I just watched SING - what an adorable movie!!! I was so inspired - wanted to start music theater myself, lol. Im' feeling better - on 2 antibiotics, 2 steroids and they are kicking my behind. I'm wired like I'm on a triple shot of expresso in an iv drip! Bouncing off the walls - little sleep!

I'm so happy to hear that it went well, Darlene! I have wondered and prayed - and I hoped it would be a soul refresher, an inviting group where you can surrounded yourself with parents on a similiar journey. Is it a weekly meeting? Hugs and more hugs!

Maggie - tires by the summer? It is summer, dear! I"m thinking you mean calendar wise, like July-ish! I hope you get a good estimate and the damage is not expensive to fix. I think you usually check in with your grades on the weekend, too ... how did we do this week?!

Barb - woohoo! Welcome to The Project Bin! Can't wait to see all that you make from hear on out.

Waving to everyone!

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

Darlene, I'm so glad it went well... answered prayers! Awesome!

Maggie, yikes! That's a lot of bother with the car. I hope you get it all taken care of to your satisfaction!

Kelly, well shucks. If we'd only known, we could have sat you in the corner of Starbucks with a direct line from the espresso machine to your blood veins. Seriously... I'm glad to hear you are getting better... meds are so helpful sometimes.

Just checking in here quickly this AM - Maggie, good luck with the car repairs. It's such a disruption to the normal routine, isn't it? (Not to mention the bank account!)

Kelly, glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Jeanette, is your leg still doing ok?

Off to get in the stamp room and get my mind off of other things.

Sweet Darlene! So good to see you stopping in - seriously makes me happy ♥ Keep on keepin on - you are loved!

Hi Jeanette!

Little man is heading off with a family tomorrow on their yacht - yes, YACHT - meanwhile, I have a blow up dingy that we take to the beach - ROFL! They will be water skiing and tubing and such - so we are heading to the small beach area today to try out his new snorkeling gear. Looks like beautiful weather today ♥

Waving to all

Default Hello

I do not know how you guys put in the graphics, but they are so cute! Love the little duck!

Kelly, that trip sounds so awesome! I love the water and snorkling sounds like a blast- hope he see's some awesome fish! When we went to Mexico and snorkled, I was told to have some frozen peas with me- or break, and the fish will come swim to you if they see/smell that item. The fish would swarm whomever had the food in their pockets- it was pretty funny.

Darlene- yes- it is really nice to have you dropping in! I am keeping up on the tread on my phone, reading along......

Maggie- I hope your car is fixed in good time and that it is not too much of an inconvenience!

Maxine- I hope you are hanging in there! Keeping you in prayers : )

I Am heading up to get inky-hoping to be productive today!!!

Hugs to all
Shelly

Good Morning--Happy Monday! I remember when Jeanette used to post these strange holidays--and I do remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I thought I would check to see what today is and here is your trivia for June 26th!

Today is All or Nothing Day. How will your day go? Will you have it all....or nothing. Either way, to participate in this special day, you must be "all in".

How would one describe All or Nothing Day. It is certainly as day of extremes. If you're a gambler, it's a day to go for broke. A little drastic day, perhaps. There's definitely no grey area in how you spend this day.

I hope you have it all on All or Nothing Day, and every day.

Hi all! It's Monday - internet less and at Starbucks trying to work (I know, I know - what a sacrifice, right?) It's actually a pain - I had so much to do at home today. Stop, rewind!

YAY for Jeanette's travelers being home again!

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

He looks about as happy as I looked
when I woke at 4:30 this morning
and couldn't go back to sleep. LOL!

Barb, how fun! You remembered!!! How did you celebrate All or Nothing Day? I celebrated by hugging my two travelers big and tight! Yep! They are home!!! And......... Brock is no longer wooly.

Yes, Darlene, I was... and Brock was, too. Especially when they carried the cherry pie into the house. (Grandma always makes a cherry pie to send home for Brock when I go to visit them alone... so she did it this time, too... since Brock didn't go to visit.)

Have I ever told you the Brock story that got her started doing that? (Remember we've never lived geographically close to the grandparents.) One day I was making cherry jello - the only jello recipe I will eat. It has dry cherry jello (no water) and cherry pie filling in it, plus a cola. But I digress. Anyway... when I was making it, Brock came into the kitchen and said, "I smell Grandma." (he was about 9 or so at the time). I asked, "What does Grandma smell like, Brock?" Without hesitation he said, "Cherry pie." I told my mom that story and it earned Brock Cherry Pie for life. LOL! My mom loves to make pie, so it's not much of a burden to her.

Keep sacrificing, Kelly... Starbucks loves having you there.

Shelly, I hope you're hanging in there!

Maggie, you doing okay?

Maxine, your silence makes me ache for you... praying extra these days. (((HUGS)))

Jeanette: I LOVE THE BROCK & CHERRY PIE STORY! Thanks for giving me a reason to smile this morning.

Good Morning--Happy Tuesday! I hope it is a good one for you!

Weird Holiday for June 27th--Take Your Pants for a WalkDayis a great day to get some exercise. Its an easy day to celebrate. Simply go for a walk. Unless you are wearing a dress or a skirt, you probably are wearing pants. So, by definition, as you walk, they come along. Get ready for tomorrow--National Milk Chocolate Day--or some of you know it as Smoochy Day!

Oh Jeanette, what a heart smile I just had! I love Brock's grandma's cherry pie story!
The. best. ever!

Now I'm not a fan of cherry pie at all (I know, right? That's like un-a-merican!) But I do love me some diet cherry coke - so hopefully I can still hang out with your cool girls!

Darlene - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to see you! Keep hanging out with us, k?
love ya!

Maxine (hugs up on hugs)

Barb - my 'pants' are in the form of shorts, so I'll 'walk' my short pants - LOL!

waving to all!

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

Thank you, Darlene! I wish I could give you a reason to smile every day.

Barb, I'm not much in the mood for milk chocolate today... can I have Smoochy instead please. Oh... and you should see the story that is on my blog today - from the little book "50 Truths Worth Knowing." The timing is amazing! Instead of milk chocolate, it's about chocolate milk.

Kelly, I'm even more un-American than you are... I don't like any kind of pie. Do you think they will kick me out?

Morning Friends.

I adore (yes, that is the right word) cherry pie. I never have it because I'm the only one who likes it. My aunts used to make it when I was young, with the tart cherries from WA state when they were in season. Delicious.

Happy Wednesday everyone. Maxine, thinking of you...{{Hugs}}

Darlene, yours was fresh cherry pie... awesome!

My mom makes it with cherries, not cherry pie filling. She says it's better that way - obviously I wouldn't know, since I don't like pie.

Good Morning--it is a late check in for me today and I think Smoochy has already left the area. I took roomie's car in for a tire rotation early this morning and they said there are also a couple of recalls on it. They would get the parts later today and would be able to do everything then tomorrow morning. So, I came back home and will make the trip again tomorrow morning! I am also getting the shopping list together for our annual family/friends 4th of July party on Sunday for 25 people. We are going to be missing a couple of families are they will be on vacation together in Tennessee. Today--more stamping time!

Thanks for asking Jeanette,

I have been sick again this week. Stayed home Monday with low grade fever and the congestion that won't quit. I felt somewhat better yesterday so I went to work, but the cough wasn't going away. My boss was gone most of the day and then left early, so I did too. I went by and got some Robitussin DM. I went to bed and woke up about 10:35 drenched in sweat. The fever had broken. I felt better this morning so figured I'd go to work. Once I got there though I started feeling light headed and had to sit down. I had been talking to our receptionist. My boss wasn't in yet. He had a dental appt. This was about 9. I went back to my office and all of a sudden got the cold sweats - cold and clammy feeling. I thought I was going to die. Couldn't do anything - couldn't move or get up. I had enough energy to call the receptionist and tell her I wasn't well. She came along with the Office Manager. By that time I was losing my breakfast into my trash can. Luckily it had a liner. I have no idea what caused that, but it was not fun. I waited a little while at my desk and then came on home. I wouldn't have been of any use and was still feeling kind of puny. I finally do feel better from that tonight, but still have the cough. Hopefully back to work tomorrow. I still haven't gotten my 30 anniversary lunch yet.

Hi girls - I am still here - still in one piece.

Maggie I do hope you are feeling better now - that sounds nasty!!

Kelly you hang in there too and don't spend too much time at McD's or SB's on the pretext of no wifi at home!!

Darlene it's always good to see you here - and lovely to see you more often

Jeanette I had no doubt Brock enjoys time with just you, but must be relieved to get a good 'shearing' when DH gets home - glad to hear the travellers and the pie made it home safely. And at the risk of my life, I think all the other cute critters on this page almost make up for the lack of smoochy....

Barb you always sound so busy with your gardening and travelling - hope your inky time has gone well.

As far as cherries go - raw or nothing for me. I have never had cherries cooked and to be honest, I'm not that keen to try them . Cherries here come into season around Christmas, and they are always a Christmas treat.

Yesterday was rather swampy - woke up, got my cuppa and opened IG and there was a card with a sentiment that said something about a hug putting all the broken pieces together - that started it, and there were numerous triggers throughout the day, not the least being your words of comfort and care - thank you .

Today has been a bit better. Went out to friends for midday dinner, and afterwards we sat and chatted - I suddenly realised it was 4:45p.m. and I had family coming for dinner at 5:45. Thankfully I was home before 5 (joys of small town living) and I had a meal in the crock pot, so I threw some dumplings into that and was ready by the time they arrived, but the dumplings still needed a few minutes more to cook , and they brought dessert.

My car had to go in for a service yesterday, and needed two new tyres, and brake pads, which are being done tomorrow morning. Thankfully I knew the tyres were getting low, but the brake pads were a surprise - rather safe than sorry though.

Tinker has grown heaps since I got him home, but tonight he is charging around like a mad thing - wonder if it is full moon??? He better settle before I go to bed or he may find himself outside for the night!! - not that he hasn't spent a lot of the day outside already.

Waving to you all and sending hugs and love from Down Under

Good Morning Fellow Stamp Addicts!

Oh no, Maggie... it is way past time for you to be well. I'm sorry you are suffering with another round of yuck... or a continuance of the previous one. It's hard to tell, isn't it? I'm praying you are all better sooner than soon!

Maxine, I am so glad to see you popping in here. I know what it's like to need to just withdraw in grief sometimes... and so when you aren't here, I get the feeling that is what you're doing. And it is okay. But at the same time, it makes me hurt for you even more... but the good thing of me doing that is it also makes me pray for you even more than I already am. Please do whatever you need to do for you. That's the best advice someone gave me when I first lost my DH many many years ago... and I still remember it.

Tinker sounds like such a delightfully fun and energetic addition to your home/life. I do hope he settled down enough to stay inside for the night.

Okay, Barb... I considered not speaking to you... since you hoarded Smoochy. But I've had a change of heart. After all, you were quite busy today. But I'm just sayin'... you only have two more Wednesdays to redeem yourself... because in 2 1/2 weeks I'll be heading to the Dominican.

Default Hi!

Jeanette- and Kelly- no pie??? I love pie- Cherry (and Pumpkin). Oh Maxine, do try it if you have a chance! I love pie made with cherries and not pie filling.

Maxine- keeping you in thoughts and prayers. Your katty sounds to be keeping you entertained.

Jeanette- did the cow visit happen already with Brock? Did I miss that fun post? Hubby back yet? Speaking of farm animals...... We told mom we were going to smoke a chicken for dinner the other night, she acted like she was smoking- inhaled, and when she exhaled went "bababalk" best chicken noise I could think of here...... LOL she is a stitch!

Maggie- hope you are feeling better- hope what you have is NOT what I had!

Barb- your party sounds like fun! Hope the car repairs when quickly and you got some time to create.

We are heading to a family reunion this weekend. One brother is heading up from Ky tomorrow, so I will head south with Mom after adoration at church and arrive at dinner time. I am hoping to eat at Tx Roadhouse : )

We have the reunion on Saturday, then Mom will head home with my sis for a week. Ray and I decided to go visit Stephi- she is having a bit of a struggle this summer, so we can spend the 4th with her and go hike and all. Her roommates are both gone, so will stay at her apartment. Cozy visit!

Our dog had a stroke yesterday, so a month shy of 16, so he was put to rest : ( It is so quiet here today- he will be missed.
