I think 20 is more than enough. I also like Molly's idea about challenges.

I'd love to do some challenges too...but let's make them optional as I don't always have time...I have 2 kids nearly 4 & 6, so the main time I get to craft is at night when they're in bed, or on Tues/Thu mornings when they're both in school... not a lot of time LOL.

I think I'm all up to date with the newbies added yesterday...off to check out their blogs.

I agree that the challenges should be optional. With school and work my time is limited too.

All challenges and swaps are traditionally optional, so please don't worry about that!

Being in a group should be fun and not add any stress to anyone.

Have we a person willing to organise the challenges and / or swaps?

Maybe the young mums might like to leave the organising to one of us who has a little bit of time to spare???....and just participate whenever???

Please forgive me as I have not posted on my blog for three days (this will be the third.) I have visitors and hubby seems to be getting a stream of people coming to see him...He is holding court and I am the tea maker!

I will post tomorrow, however!

Anything extra that isn't listed in the rules (post #1) is optional. They are for fun and like Michelle said they should be stress free. I just organize the list and anything else is up to you all as a group!

May I suggest something...

Could everyone please sign off their posts in here using their name? At the moment I don't know everyone and I would like to address you by name, if possible....seems more polite to me

Thanks all,

I didn't see this one before I saw the Cutesy Stampers -- I think I might fit in more here though? Is it ok if I join here instead? I just started blogging this weekend and think joining a group sounds fun! Especially seeing the fun the other blog groups are having!

I should have been clearer.....I think it would be friendlier to know a person's Christian name when answering posts...as I am sure most people do.....

A lot of people do not have their Christian name sited anywhere when posting in this forum. I am asking if it would be possible to either put a Christian name in the signature somewhere or type a Christian name before hitting send.

For example....I think that it would make it so much easier as well as friendlier knowing that I am answering Linda, not LLLCreate...see what I mean?

Another example....I have added Michelle to my signature so people know they are answering Michelle, not just shellpole or shellpole's snippets.

Cheers

A Christian name = a first name...

My Christian name is Michelle...Your Christian name is Nikki...It has nothing to do with theological beliefs. It is what is commonly referred to as your first name.

Bottom line is....I would prefer to communicate with "Nikki" in preference to communicating with "embellished". If you had not put...my name is Nikki ....in that last post...I would be communicationg with "embellished"! See what I mean?

Cheers

LMBO I am glad I am not the only one who never heard that before!!

I always just called it a first name, I have never heard that before and I asked my fiance and he has never heard of it either.

That's Ok...must be an English thing!..Just as we have English spelling ...but then I did have examples at the bottom of the post just to highlight what I was trying to say. Did anyone get that far??

Tis easy to fall in the different cultural gap, isn't it?

I am happy to use the term FIRST NAME just to get the idea across So substitute FIRST NAME whereever applicable

Cheers,

Cheers,

I love when I notice you saying something that people in the US don't typically say! My buddy from BG1, Louise is from New Zealand so I notice her sayings too. So much fun! You guys would really think my sayings are weird living in the south and being a country bumpkin and all

Oh yes Louise and I could quite get you all totally confused!!! Australians generally understand Kiwis....but it is as you say....we all have our little quirks...and that is what makes things really interesting!!!

I love to hear all the different interpretations and slants on sayings. You can really get a good head of steam up in the giggle department!

But...If someone doesn't understand me, please feel free to ask! I will not be offended!

Cheers,
