PUZZLED,BLOG CANDY

:confused:I've offered blog candy for the 500th person I would give them a set of h/made cards. I tracked 1 person down on Swap-Bot,she didn't want them:( So I reset it for the next person who clicked me as a follower,& left a note in my chat box could claim it. Still no takerss:rolleyes:What's wrong,I'm baffled:confused:
I have done this on other people's blogs. I haven't won anything. I have found some interesting card blogs.

Good question? Maybe everyone is busy with getting ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Hi Grandmabear,

I'm confused about where this give-away is, but it's all crafters/cardmakers, right? I think most of us prefer to give our own handmade cards. I think we generally swap for fun and ideas, but don't actually send cards unless we've made them ourselves.

Speaking for myself, I'm swimming in extra cards. The last thing I need is a set from someone else, even if they are the most beautiful cards ever!

Just a guess...?

I agree with Krystie Lee. We all love homemade cards, but we are all card markers. My friends are used to getting cards that I made personally. It would be weird to send them cards made by someone else.

Like the others said, I don't like giving away other people's cards, especially if they're from a beginner, or just not my style...

I would refuse, kindly, as well.

re:handmade C-mas cards

These are my own C-mas cards. They are the ones I have designed for this C-mas season. I have traded items in the past w/ some some themed cards for a swap. These are free, only people had to sign up as a follower, leave a note in my chat box. I have done this before on other peoples's blog. I thought it would be a fun way to celebrate my 500th person on my blog.:I'm not a geek,so my blog is a year old, I had to learn new computor skills to pull this off:rolleyes:This is why I'm confused

Maybe the ladies you contacted are also demos for a particular company? I know I only participate in TAC swaps so I can put the cards in my "browsing baskets" when I do events. I LOVE looking online at other cards/companies for ideas, but I'm not going to put those in my baskets for my customers to browse. I also send the cards I make, not cards that others make--even if they are from "my" company so I'd agree with the posters above.

I'm sure your cards are lovely, but I'm just trying to help you come up with reasons...

Have a great day! ;-)

Most folks want card making supplies, not cards as blog candy. We are greedy little devils...
