oh last series I finished was twilight ;)
right now I'm reading a Joyce Meyer one 12 keys to a healthy lifestyle (i think thats the title)
And also have been reading the 5 love languages of a teenager really good!!
JCI everyone. Had a fun day creating and playing on my blog, looking for wedding invitation ideas for my step daughter and generally just having a lazy Sunday.
Did you happen to see these wedding invitations I made for my neighbor's brother?
Thanks! I liked the way they turned out, but they were a challenge to figure out what to make. The bride wanted them all finished in one night, so they had to be quick and she had never stamped before. Needless to say they didn't get finised in one night, but it only took me a few days.
I didn't answer this earlier because I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but I hate reading. I know sounds weird and I must be the only one who doesn't like reading, but I never did like to read especially books. I'll read a magazine or something like that, but never a book. Maybe when I'm older I'll read more I don't know, I just don't have time with three kids, KWIM?
Now my two older children love to read. My daughter volunteers at the library on Saturdays and my son loves to go to the library and pick out some books, especially fire truck books.
Your not the only one. I have to say I love a good Mag. I will browse cover to cover Reading bits of articles and taking notes for fashion buys. When I do read a book it's usually something fun like Shopaholic Series or something girlie. Reading for academic/ work puts me right to sleep.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! IF you stop by my blog tomorrow morning I'm part of the Paper Sundaes blog hop that will be going on...chances for some prizes along the way.
Question for weekend:
What was the most memorable/influential book you've read- not necessarily your favorite but the one you felt really spoke to you on some level- AND then what are you reading now?
YIkes - I am behins - sorry! THis past weekend/end of last week was awful busy! I GOT A PROMOTION!
Let Prayer CHange Your Life was a very life chagning book for me...still working on finding my next read!

I LOVE THESE! I may be using this for one of the ones I have been asked to do!!
I go in spells of reading...I loved the scrapbook mystery series by Laura Childs- a lot. I loved Twilight series.. I think the Little House on the Prairie books are my all time fave series.. i loved those as a kid and they were such a big deal to read each one and I cherished those books! As far as influential, I think New Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton was one of my all time faves- and more recently a book called Chasing Grace. Right now I am not reading anything... but will probably start another novel next week.
Here's any easy Question of the Day:
Favorite candy?
Mine is reeses peanut butter cups- esp the big ones!

I love magazines too, my mother in law saves me hers and then I'll read them. Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, and News Week are some of my favorites.

Thanks! I just had someone else make the same wedding invitations as mine. After several emails back and forth with her, I just decided it was easier to send her a sample so that she could use it to make her own. If you'd like a sample just let me know I think I like these so much because they were so easy to make, but then again I love quick and easy cards!
Hmm....this is a tough one too! I love candy....LOL When I was younger I loved Snickers, I still like them, but Whoopers are pretty good too, yum, yum!
How do you ladies get out of a crafty funk? I'm stuck in the *have to* , i have to finish this order of skittles, have to finish crayon roll, have to finish these swaps.
I usually go through my favorites and case a card, that willl get me going again. We've been having lots of rain here too, but the sun is trying to peek out.

I for one use my list on my blog to remind me to visit my Classy friends and comment! My followers list helps me as well, know who I should visit and who my new friends are!
It's a big world but we make it smaller when we meet!
leslie - i will have to look into that "follow this blog" button... is it more than like, google friend connect?
busy getting my blog cosmetic changes... busy getting things in order and tying up loose ends before leaving for a wonderful 4-day vacay on the other side of the island... my cousin gets married on friday so we're spending an extended weekend at the hotel (thurs-sun). ttyl
wow there was some pretty great stuff in the blogs this week!
We just had to fork out the money to replace our dryer. yuck! i prefer line drying but just not an option here until early summer really. We had 50 mile an hour winds today. My underwear would of ending up in someone's yard 3 blocks away... they don't want that!
