Interested in becoming a Crafty Critter Blogger? This group is by special invitation only. Please contact one of our moderators (mnewby or aprillower) to possibly be added. As new members are added you can add them to your blog list. (read the requirements below)
The requirements:
1. First you must have a blog. Do you?? ;)
2. Next we ask that you post in your blog ATLEAST once a week. If you feel the crafty spirit hitting you hard feel free to post as many as you would like in a day or week. We understand "life" happens before SCS, Blogging, and Crafting so if you don't post a new blog for awhile check in with us so we know you are ok.
3. After our group is formed was ask that you please add the Crafty Critters to your "blog list" on your blog. Check in with everyones blog atleast once a week. Leave them comments of encouragement!!
4. We will occasionally post card challenges for you to be a part of. We ask that everyone tries the challenge. This allows for great inspiration and allows your creative juices to flow.
5. Do you also scrapbook??? Great!! We would love to see your card and scrapbooking creations on your blog. If you alter items SHARE THEM WITH US.
6. On your blog feel free to offer blog candy, cards as gifts, techniques, etc.
7. Are you getting the drift yet?? Anything goes!! Have fun and get to know one another.
The idea behind this group is to offer great inspiration to eachother and develope some really great friendships. Offer up encouragment to each other and HAVE FUN!!!

Thanks Melanie........ I have a blog... but I haven't updated it recently. I'm going to join this group as it will force me to keep at it... I like that you have said the we have to post at least once a week... I'm going to schedule it into my weekly planner!

Tracey I'm not that great at names either. I would think of something like Clark's Corner or Tracey's Craft Nook or My Escape Room. Something like that!! I don't know! One girl painted her craft room all pink and named her blog the Pink Panther. So maybe think of something that relates to you and your craft room.

AnnMarie thanks so much for joining us. Yea Kelly don't worry girl. I had a friend that named her baby they day they were leaving the hospital. I'm such a "planner" that would have drove me nuts. I just checked in on everyones blogs, ok now we all need to work on getting something posted.
That is my challenge to all of you before Sunday. Post something, ANYTHING, give us something to oooooo and aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh over!!!

Could you just imagine what the names would be if we went off of our craft area/rooms!!! Your's is in your kitchen, Kellys is in her bedroom (I can see the names now!!!) mine is in a room I have to share with the computer and the kids play area which is too small for all these different things! That could be fun!!!!
Okay, I just bowed out, probably not very gracefully from my blogger group. I was trying to figure out who our mod. was but couldn't. So anyway, I will try to get on my blog today and do some changing and update with my coaster boxes I just made!!!

That's funny!
I've taken over our dining room... the computer was already there - we moved it out of our "office" when the boys arrived... but once I started scrapbooking... it was so bad that my husband brought in our plastic patio table to use as a dining table so that I could keep the big, flat surfaced dining table as a scrap table.
I'm looking forward to this... I love the idea that you have kept the numbers small so that we can get to know each other a little more... it is hard to keep up when there are lots of people posting.

Oh gosh Moira, that is too funny!!! I used to get so iritated at DH because I told him his crap was all over the kitchen table. He would then point out that my "crafting" supplies were all over the kitchen table. So I had to admit that the reason why I got iritated at "his" stuff being on the kitchen table was because it was invading my craft space. Oh I dream of the day of having an area other than our dining room as my craft space.

LOL......... me too - we were hoping to buy last year but then the market dropped so we feel we are here probably for another year... uggh! When we were looking at new houses we had two main criteria - a yard for the boys to play in and a craft area for me... even my hubby is supportive... I think it is because he wants to be able to close the door on my mess! haha
Speaking of houses... you mentioned a while back that you might be moving -did you get your house?

Hey girls, I am starting to feel a little tiny bit better. The last 2 days have been hard, I am not sure if anyone has ever had a sinus infection. Man it takes a toll on ya. I go home at night and I am so exhausted my whole body aches, even my hair, lol.
I have browsed the web and it looks pretty easy to creat a blog.
My goals is to have it up and running by Sunday. Since I have not been very crafty lately, I will post some things I have made earlier this month.
Just checking in! I can so relate to craft space issues! My poor family hasn't eaten at our dinning room table in so long I think they have forgotten how! I am also pretty certain that my craft supplies rub together at night and make more while I sleep! LOL Sadly though I still never really feel like I have enough! LOL
Moira we will find out at the end of April if we get the house. The family has it on the market right now but the contract runs out at the end of April. If they do not sell it then we will be doing a lease/purchase on it. DH and I have some saving to do (about 2-3 years) before we can jump into purchasing. Super long story for another day. ;)
Tracey I'm so glad you are feeling better. That's ok if you post older stuff, I do that sometimes when I'm having a week or two of no mojo. Can't wait to see your blog.
Oh AnnMarie you made me laugh. My stuff seems to rub together at night time too.

Even though I'm sick as a dog... I'm off to a late night crop... one of our LSS is open from 7-2am on Wednesdays... not that I will be staying that late... Meg and I usually go until about 10 ish... I hope to finish up a few swaps - and then I'll have something to post on my blog!

I am a card maker and a scrapbooker, I love to create! I a mom of two, boy and a girl. My son is almost 6 and my daughter is 4. I am married for 10 years now. I started card making over 1 and half years ago. I am an angel company demo but I love all stamps.
I am a paper freak, I must have every paper pack that exists! I am on the hunt for the latest DCWV packs.

Yes, sinus infections are the worst! It's a whole head thing that in turn makes your entire body ache!

The dishes can wait and the laundry can sit! I am not answering phones or the door...I hope to be eyebrow deep in craft glue, ribbon, brads, pretty paper and punches for most of my waking hours! Thank you for listening! Giggles!

It was fun - but more importantly it was productive. I got a couple of things finished up for swaps and another swap started.
I've started to slow down on swap sign ups .. I haven't scrapped any of my own pictures in a couple of months.... and I feel like I'm neglecting my kids books.
I think this group will also help me to do a layout or two of my own .. in between swaps... so that I have something to post that actually has pictures on it!
