How does everyone feel about maybe starting a google group or similar? That way we could chat and message easily and also perhaps start in group challenges etc?

I thought the point of this was to comment on blogs.. not on this thread. I have been posting to everyones blogs atleast once a week, I just have not come here to post as well.
There never was any rules about posting on here, I just thought that it would be the best way to gage what people thought about starting our own google group, sort of as an easy way to contact each other or do challenges if people were keen. I never meant to pressure anyone. I don't want this to turn into another Cindy situation so consider the idea dumped.
i'm still here! my life has been a little crazy lately with my mil falling and breaking her wrist but i still manage to visit everyone's blog at least once a week.
i'm open for anything - just pm me and let me know.
can we get a show of hands as to who is in or out? i enjoy visiting everyone's blog and i certainly don't want to offend anyone by removing them from my list that still wants to be in the group - so a quick "i'm in or " i'm out" will be very much appreciated.
I'm still in!! I just sometimes forget to visit this thread! I just tried to catch up on my comments yesterday...we were away for a week, but I scheduled posts!
This week...I'm challenging myself to do a daily challenge and post it on my blog! I've been a week and a half without actually creating anything!

I hear ya Abi! I was just wondering because it seems that it is just you, me, Jan, Tenia, Louise, Kelly and Nancy as of late. If the group is going to disolve then I thought that I would just keep you guys on my side bar, as I LOVE all of your blogs!
Oh and Louise...I think it would be fun to do some kind of challenge or exchange birthdays and what not. I am game, sister!

I have never been able to access Bizzy Bee creates through the link. I have been able to reply with a comment if she leaves a comment but other than that no luck. Is anyone else having this problem?
Yeah...I am bad for checking in here! I see that the *antagonist* of our blogging group has left the building. Maybe since she is gone, we can start fresh and have nice, friendly chatter.
Perhaps she left a bad taste is some people's mouths, so now that she is gone...PLEASE come back ladies! We are all very nice gals just wanting to chat and leave each other positive feedback!

hey girls, i'm still here too. i think a challenge is a great idea to get this little group up an moving again. i would also like to see if we (especially me) can get in on Abi and Tenia's challenges each week - we gotta support our girls you know. Emily, i know that you have been participating in Tenia's' challenges, so good for you! i've been kinda swamped lately with my mil and dt stuff but i feel some pressure being lifted and i so want to support our blogger girls.
blogger group 8 contacted someone here on scs and opened up a whole new forum/thread in the user groups that is a private group for just group 8. i think that would be a good idea for our group too. we also need to come up with a name for our little group and start a monthly challenge. what do you think? i would still like to get a show of hands so that we have some idea of how many people are still with us.

I think a challenge is a great idea. I was having a little trouble getting my Photoshop configured on my new computer, but I think I have the problems all worked out now. I stamped a whole bunch this weekend, so I should be updating my blog regularly now. I feel so bad about being so silent, but I am defintiely interested and so inspired by all the great work I see on your blogs!

I think monthly challenges between us would be really cool, and I have loaded Abi's challege blog on my challenge blog bit with VERY good intentions.lol.
We could start a Yahoo group, they are really easy to set up and if you guys are keen I could start one. we could PM the others in the group and see if they are keen.
BUT we need a name.... any brilliant ideas ladies?
How about The Worldwide Super Stampers? Coz we are fairly well spread logistically.
i'm not too familiar with yahoo but if that's what you want then that's okay by me. i just thought that since we all come here anyway it would be easier to meet here and that way we could have our very own private forum and we could have different threads where we could issue monthly challenges and such. and then when we issue a challenge each month we could load it up in the SCS gallery. we could even have our own code for our gallery. for instance - if we chose the name that Louise mentioned (worldwide super stampers) our code would be WWSSC the C is for challenge lol. but you prolly already knew that, huh?
as for as a name - here are a few i came up with off the top of my head.
inky fingers
stamp addicts
coast to coast stampers (this one might sound too much like SCS)
sisterhood of stampers
if anyone else has suggestions please let us know so we can make a decision and get this ball rolling.
I find the yahoo groups a nightmare to navigate please stay on scs:( i think monthly challenges are a great idea, blogger 10 have their own thread it's just called rubber bombshells (i did not choose the name :o )
so what are we going to call our selves then????

I agree...Yahoo groups are hard to navigate. One of my uplines does this and I rarely go there because I can never get to where I want to be! LOL! I think keeping it on SCS is a good idea so that we can create our own galleries for the challenges. Inky fingers is cute! We probably all have inky fingers on most days of the week!
let's all agree on a name and place first. if everyone agrees to keeping it here on SCS i can contact the same person that blogger group 8 did and see about getting our own private thread in the user groups forums.
let's try to get this going as soon as possible so that we can issue our first challenge this month. sound good?

I am so sorry about everyone not being able to access my blog. I'm not sure why? I am very new to this. I will post another link to my blog and please let me know if you are or not able to access it. I am interested in staying in this group but not interested in a separate form on yahoo/google. But I can commit to check back here more often.
Hi Dianne! I am rather new to blogging too! I am just not sure why it is doing that! I have no trouble getting to your blog when I click the link in your post. I just tried to delete the link on my blog and copy and paste it again and it still is asking for a password. Do you maybe have some sort of lock out on? I am probably NOT the person to ask! LOL! I am not very computer savy and learn as I go! I will ask some of my computer programer neighbors if they have any ideas next time I see them out! They are my go to guys when ever i have a problem!

Dianne, i'm having the same problem as Emily. when i clink on the link in your signature it works just fine or when you post a comment on my blog i can go straight to yours but for some reason when i copy and paste it to my blog it doesn't work. wish i could help but i'm new to blogging too.
