My Michael's has the new EK Success punches!!! I bought 2 already with my coupon. I posted pics on my blog if you want to have a looksee. I bought the binding edge which looks like the left side of a torn out notebook page. I have been wanting a punch like that forever!
All of the ones in my area say that they aren't getting them! Are there any Micheal's stores that do have them?
DK...the one place http://www..com/ink_archival_jumbo.html is now saying it may be the END of 09...that's a little late to use the for Easter...LOL!!! The Mike's closest to me said they haven't gotten ANY MS Easter stuff in yet but I'm stalking just in case. Watchin WM too!
I was just at Michaels about an hour ago and saw the new punches. They are sooo cool. Candles, and dinosaurs and gardening tools and so many others. I was there to use my coupon for something else so I didn't get one but hopefully I will get another coupon in Sunday's paper so I can start collecting. I am in the northern subs of Pittsburgh.
The Michael's in Lutherville, MD has a full endcap of the new EK Success punches, and most of them are $14.99. Bring on the coupons!
With any EK & MS punch design that has a definite top and bottom (candles, train, etc.), you either have to punch it at the top edge of something, or you have to punch a separate piece and apply it like a ribbon to place the design at the bottom of a page.
The M's in Onalaska has them too, I have a thing about punches at the moment and ended up buying 3 this week (binding edge, postage stamp,and another different scallop border punch I dont have!!!!!) I bought them each time using a coupon. Just gotta love those coupons. They cut really well, and take up so much less space. I am loving them!
I have purchased 9 of these punches in the past week and have returned two. The ones that emboss are not great. I returned the zigzag with the embossed stitching and the one with the embossed line with the little dots on either side of it. With the exception of those two, I love, love, love these punches!!

The one that embosses I had issues with too but if you punch twice....first for cutting and then for embossing it works great ...
Thanks for the update on the new punches. I saw the ad in the flyer, or maybe I saw something out of the corner of my eye last time I was there. Anyhow, now I'll definitely check them out. I like the sprial one, cheaper than SU's and as cute?
I bought one regular punch and returned it the next day. It torn the edge of the SU design paper instead of punching. maybe I should have given it a second change, but I just took it back. I have too many punches that I don't use for the same reason.

I went to Michael's at lunchtime and found these on an end cap marked 30% off; I had to keep myself from buying lots of them! I got the Binding Edge (I've resisted the SU one but couldn't resist this one!), the smaller Moon and Stars and the Photo Corners; I love that they fold flat for easier storage! When I checked out, I got a "25% off your entire order" coupon that's good til the 21st; looks like I'll be taking another trip!
'every time I try to get out, they keep dragging me back'!!!
