If you are a Stampin' Up demo, you can pre-order the set on Sept. 26th. As a customer, you can contact your demo and place an order as of Oct. 6th. If you don't have a demo, go to the Stampin' Up website and use the demo locator to find one near you! Enjoy!

I think I will call my demonstrator and tell her to order it for me on Oct. 6th. I can't wait to see it and get it.

I wish they would let you order JUST the stamp set. I like it, but I do not want or need a kit.

Try "right clicking" on the file and choosing save as. Then open it. That usually works.

Default October Set

Ok - I love the stamp set - but I have a lot of the other pieces of the kit.
Has anyone (like me who overanalyzes things) figuring out what the cost of the set is if you ordered it piece by piece to see if it's a good deal.
I know you can't put a value on the stamp set but the other pieces you can.

Sorry - I'm married to an accountant - I overthink things

I purchased the October issue of Country Living, thinking the 6-page spread would be in that issue. . . .it isn't. There are, however, two coupons to subscribe at the rate of 12 issues for $12. So the subscription special is for anyone, not just those who purchase the SU kit. Sorry to burst your bubble; I just thought SU demos should know.

Found this on another web site
The promotion will run from October 15, 2006, until November 30, 2006.
A six-page Thanksgiving-themed pictorial article, featuring an exclusive stamp set called Country Blessings--along with several tabletop projects made from the set--will be in the November 2006 Country Living magazine. This magazine will be on newsstands beginning October 10, and will be distributed to 1.8 million subscribers.
Stampin' Up! has created a stamping kit, called the Autumn Elegance Stampin' Kit that includes the die-cut Country Blessings stamp set, along with enough materials to create eight of the invitations featured in the Country Living pictorial.
The pictorial will include Stampin' Up! contact information and instructions on how to contact a demonstrator.
The cost of the Autumn Elegance Stampin' Kit is $49.95, and includes the following materials:

Without the hodgepodge hardware, instructions, Country living sub. card, and the set it comes to 22.72. Not sure how to price out the hodgepodge.

I don't think you bursted any bubbles. Of course the coupon is for anyone. One way to get the coupon is to order the kit. Apparently buying the newstand issue is another.

I'm having a SU party on the 7th. So, is the kit available on the 6th for sure? If not I'll close my party on the 15th. Is the coupon that's included just the coupon? Or does the kit price include the subscription? When I heard it was $49.95 it sounded so high, but I didn't realize all you got with it.

THanks!

The coupon is just for the special pricing on the subscription. The kit price doesn't include it. I've already read a post from a demo whose customer received her usual CL issue in the mail, saw the spread & called to order the kit right away. She wanted to get it before SU ran out of them!

I am a new as they come to stamping, and this sounds really cool!! I have been stressing over what colors & accessories to choose for a project, and this takes all the guess-work out! I found a local demonstrator and will be attending a workshop at the 1st of November. I can't wait that long to order!!!!

Sorry, forgot to answer that before! Yes, it definitely starts on the 6th. It's right on the front page of the SU website.

While some of you may not like the fact that it comes in a kit, think about how overwhelmed you probably felt when trying to make your first project. I know I did not know where to start and I had a demonstrator helping me pick. I have everything in that kit but I got it because I can ALWAYS use more Hodgepodge LOL and ribbon and twine and paper. The only thing I am left with are the ink spots and they will be great to take when I go to my friend's to stamp or at a workshop.

The stamp set is AMAZING, one of the most detailed, elegant sets I have seen. To try to figure out how to price out an ink spot or Hodgepodge will not only make you crazy but you are are not getting an accurate price because unless you are willing to make a commitment to the full size product you CAN'T try Hodgepode or the Stampin' Spots. This is a great way to really try a wide variety of Stampin' Up!'s products without investing a lot of money to get a really polished, elegant looking card. I do not think there are many other hobbies you can properly try for $50.

I know a lot of demos are excited about this and some are offering a class with the kit. I have 2 classes planned, one a pre purchase and we will use their stamps, the other we will use my kit and they will get to really check it out before ordering. I have also come up with about 10 different samples using this kit, all different items, not just cards. I have told my customers these samples are made for those who purchase the kit and will not be revealed before. I have a couple that I have put out for everyone to see but am keeping the rest under wraps for my classes.
