ALL PROCEEDS GO BACK TO SCS!

Need a little more convincing? Very well. Here they are...

~It's a great gift for your upline/downline
~Makes a subtle reminder to your hubby that you have been stamping all day, so COOK ME SOME DINNER!
~Coaster
~Sit on it so you can see over the dash. You can see over the dashboard? ~Give it to someone who can't
~Bathroom reading Don't act like you don't know what I am talking about!
~Completes your cookbook collection
~You want to find out where qc REALLY lives....*insert dramatic music here*
~Speaking of qc...didja know I got her award-winning Turkey recipe?
~One word: Fudge
~Foot rest while you are on the computer browsing the SCS website
~MIGHT make you think of something OTHER than stamping (horrors!)
~Props up your Cheetos bag
~Breast Rest (you would have to read "Have you ever noticed..." to understand)
~Use it to fix your wobbly table
~Use it as a shield when those pesky squirels get a little too possessive and territorial with YOUR balcony by throwing nuts at you. (yes-this happened to me)
~Use it as a bookend
~Tape it together and use it as a frisbee on a nice summer day
~Birthday gift
~Use it as a fan during hot summer months
~Use it to prop up the card front you are gonna CASE
~Buy it just to shut Catie up
~Flyswatter
~Use as a baseball bat/golf club/tennis racket
~Tape sides together, add a snap and a strap...instant purse!
~Buy 2 or 3, tear out the same recipes-MEMORY game!
~You could use it to...I don't know...cook something
~Use it as a RAK
~Undo the binding to use as a hair clip
~Use it as a cravat on the table for your hot pans and dishes
~PLACEMATS!
~Wrapping paper
~Pretend you are a spy. Turn it upside down and learn to read that way.
~Use it as a plate
~Use it as a reflecting device if you are lost on an uncharted desert isle
~You can trace your kids hands on the cover, cut them out and have a decorative reminder that 'these are the days of our lives...'
~Use it as a baby name book...doesn't granijani sound like a great girls name?
~Makes a good cat 'shoo!'er
~Lay your ladle on it so that there isn't any gravy messes on the stove
~Use it as a barter to get STAMPS (or Hello Kitty merchandise)
~You could sell it on ebay for $500 like she-who-must-not-be-named
~Use it as a reminder to NOT procrastinate....later....maybe...well....
~Hook it to a gold chain and use it as 'bling'
~Buy 100 of them and then use them to dogpile people.
~Tear out pages. Make paper airplanes. Go to the mall. Fly them.
~Use your paper punches to make confetti. Fling it at passers-by.
~Outta wood in the woods? Need to keep warm? COOKBOOKS!
~It would make one funky altered book!
~I guess you could use the pages for Kleenex-es...don't get a paper cut!
~Use it as a sketchbook during lectures
~Buy two and use them for skiis
~Buy several and put them under your tires for traction
~Weave a bunch together and use them as a lean-to wind shelter
~They make decent shovels
~Rip off the cover, cut 2 holes in it, attach Window sheets=face mask
~Put about 50 of them in your Emergency roadside kit in place of a blanket
~UMBRELLA!
~To pass time while waiting in traffic-take a pen and color in all the 'o's
~Use it for a random vision test. Open to page 41 and put it 25 feet away. Can you read it?
~Cut out the center of the cookbook and make a 'hidden cubby' for stuff
~Out of cardstock? Use the cookbook
~Out of Yahtzee sheets? Improvise on a cookbook page
~Did you lose the dice too? Well, you might be SOL there...but you could mono the pages together for dice.
~Use them for CD file labels
~Use the book to cover the water ring on the coffee table
~I still think that you could make a dog-pile avalanche with them
~Do you think that Daven would reset the password of the people that didn't order?? (no-he wouldn't)
~The pages will create cute shadowbox figures
~Weave the pages into a gum-wrapper necklace!
~See your name in print if you are a contributor

Ok-I'm out. Just buy the durn thing! In all seriousness-the recipes in this cookbook are wonderful. I've made a few myself. You'll be sorry if you don't have this one. There are less than 100 left. Buy one today.

Man, I LOVE to color! I have just gotta get this! This is awesome! So let me get this straight in my dorkey little brain, if I want a cookbook that I can also do all the afore mentioned, and the most important for me would be coloring in the o's cuz I sure don't think I would actually cook anything, all I have to do is send you a check (I am sure you mean a paper one & not one made out of rubber) and then I can get one? There is still time? I am not to late? Cool! Check is on it's way! Oh, oh, oh, oh!

Oo la la! A card.

There have been a coupla checks coming, but as you may or may not know, my mom had a stroke a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been to the bank/post office since then. NOT IGNORING you folks, I am just a little delayed.

And YES! There are cookbooks to be had, but hurry-they are going quickly.

Bumpin' for the Cookbook Goddess Catie!

Catie.....I gave the 2nd one to a friend......she LOVED it and said it's about the best compilation of recipes she's seen! She absolutely adored it and couldn't believe the variety!

Ok Iím not a cooking fanatic, but I do want to support SCS and also possibly learn to cook out of it

But seriously, can anyone tell me if the recipes are easy or for the more advanced cook? I like simple no fuss stuff.

Can anyone tell me?

Question Check cleared the bank on 10/7...patiently waiting.

Hi Catie,

I tried to e-mail/pm you, but it wouldn't let me. I know that you have been busy, but I just wanted to make sure that you received my check for the SCS cookbook. The check was dated September 29th.

**UPDATE...bank was contacted and the check cleared on 10/7.**

Thanks so much!!

I sent a money order a long time ago... but it wasn't to Catie, it was to whoever was doing it before her... but I haven't gotten my cookbook yet. Is there anyway to make sure that my money order was received?

Thanks!

Question Hmmmmm......

Hmmm, hopefully we will hear from someone that will be able to help us. The check cleared my bank on October 7th. Do you have the name of the person that you sent the money order to?

Are there still some cookbooks available? If so, I'd love to get my hands on one. Do we just send the original poster the $$ or should I contact someone specifically first? Any idea???

Question

So sorry to bother (again), but has anyone heard from Catie Lewis? I know her mother had a stroke. I was just checking if anyone has got in contact with her or if someone else has taken over the cookbook orders because of her mother's condition?

Thanks!

Breezy929~I guess Catie Lewis (she is the one in charge of the cookbooks) is having computer problems and working double shifts. I haven't received mine yet, so I just wanted to let you know...just in case Catie doesn't get in touch with you. I haven't heard if anyone is taking her place until she gets the computer problem resolved, but keep an eye on the posts because I hear the cookbook is awesome and hopefully you can get one too!!

Have a great day!

Howdy from Fiji (*snort*)

Just kidding. Working on the cookbooks today for about another 15 minutes. Misti-I will look back through the receipts and returned envies and see if yours is in there. PM me your last name please.

6 cookbooks are going postal today.

I still have some SCS Vol 1 cookbooks left-less than 60 are available.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.
