Usually about a week and a half but I’m on the west coast. It might be slower due to two things, the sale and people’s fear that they might be going out of business. According to the forum some pretty big orders are being placed. Just guessing though.

The image for the sale on the blog says right on it, "Please expect longer than usual shipping times due to the increased volume."

I placed a really big paper order (like a foot and a half) awhile back when they had an even huger sale, like 30% off, and it took three weeks.

PTI did respond to me already. Just upset that I have been charged and payment will be due before I receive my order that's all. Oh well, looking forward to receiving my order!

I believe they said that the Release this month will be postponed a bit, due to their sale. So, I'm guessing it will take a bit longer to get your order too, with the high volume of orders. I live closer than you do, & it usually never takes more than a week to get my order, but with the sale, it would probably take a bit longer even for me.

I don't know of any companies who let you hold off on paying until you receive your order.

They're NOT SUPPOSED TO charge your card till it's shipped. But, I've found MANY companies charge your card before shipping anyway.

Seems like it’s happening more and more. Unless it is something on reserve I am finding that more often than not I get charged immediately.

I think the way they get-around-it is by printing the shipping label, which allows them to access the money. There can be a lapse of time from when the shipping label is generated and when the actual package is delivered to the postal service for shipping. I learned this from buying on EBay.

I placed my order with Papertrey on the 1st charged on the 2nd no order yet. Placed an order with Tapeonline, charged the 5th received yesterday. Placed and order with michaels.com charged on the 6th received package today.
Only noticing these dates and charges as I am trying to payoff this months charges by due date. Something I very rarely do.

INTERESTING! Because I ordered something from a store, not related to stamping, & the label is ready, the card charged, but it hasn't been received by the postal service....... It's been SEVERAL DAYS like this now. :/

That’s interesting. That makes sense about the shipping label. Seems like charges hit my card pretty fast after an order on almost everything I buy. I really don’t care too much unless it’s on reserve or shipping is slow.

The reason I am aware this happens with the shipping label/money realease is that on EBay, when you use PayPal, the merchant is not allowed to access the money until they show proof of intent to ship (i.e. the shipping label).
The purchase history on EBay will show the status of an order. You are able to check when a package was mailed. If Label is printed by not yet mailed it will say awaiting shipment. I’ve had some merchants wait several days before actually shipping the item.

I am so pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received my order this time! I placed my order shortly after the original email came through at midnight on the 1st and I received my order on the 7th. I know the last sale it took about a month to receive and I was happy to see they put out the disclaimer to expect longer than normal shipping times with this sale. Hopefully everyone is starting to see their orders come in too!

There isn’t a law that says a seller has to hold off charging before shipping. But lots of credit card issuers (banks) have rules that don’t allow sellers to charge the credit card before shipping.
It will be interesting how this plays out with more and more sellers sending shipped notices but all they’ve done is create a label.

Just received my order today. I just love the stamp set I ordered. I thought PTI shipping was a little expensive but my order came shipping USPS 2 day Priority.
I didn't even know my order was shipping until I logged into my account at PTI today and saw a tracking number. Put it into USPS tracking and was delighted that it was out for delivery!
My first order and very happy!

They have always been slow on shipping for my orders. Now I can't imagine their overload with the biggest sale I've ever seen there. I have not received my package from the 15% off sale as of now, but I'm at work so it may be on my doorstep!
Best prices for Lovely cardstock...original designs in their dies...Lots of Christian stamps & matching word dies.
Brushed Birds is the Sweetest set, and the group of ladies I give cards to all said "Awwww" when they saw them.
