8 1/2 x 11 single color cardstock is 4.95 per pack,pack of single family asst cardstock is 7.50,12x 12 is 6.95 single color and 8.50 for asst color family pack.

Translation: yes - paper went up. Single color cardstock was $4.50, now $4.95 - over a 10% increase. I am not surprised as the cost of paper has been jumping even higher with some other suppliers - and they aren't locked in to a price for a year.

Well, I'm still waiting for my catties -- but I got my big order today and am sooooo very glad now that I order 55 packs of cs. So I saved around $25 by getting it now instead of waiting. Who would have thought -- I didn't!! And I already have my wwc -- so there is another $20. Therefore, when my DH came home tonight I told him I saved another $45 today (and I just told him last week when I put my order in that I saved at least $170. So now I can go out and spend $200 that I saved -- RIGHT???? :rolleyes:

I know I should order the WCC now and save myself $20 but I just can't see spending the $60 now on them and what happens if I don't like them.. I was told by a few people that they wish they would never have spent the $$ On them.. guess I will buy one family at a time, did that with the markers too and not regretting that either!!
I splurged and got the WCC. I couldn't resist the savings now and I gave all of my customers 20% off on all retired products. It was a great deal for them. Now, I'll do a WCC class and those that didn't purchase may have wished they would have. If you've watercolored off a pad, the crayons are so much nicer. I was very hesitant at first myself due to the cost and wasn't going to purchase until seeing them IRL and trying them myself. I hear that demos should rubberband the top down so no crayons "escape" but that's the only downfall so far. Save money if you can and buy now!

Trust me, once you know how to use them, you will love them! I always use my Demo's with her and we use the bottom of the WCC with the aqua brush It is great! I use to be hooked on the water color pencils, now I am on the WCC! I am getting them myself this week (or when the order comes in) I had a retirement party and used my hostess $ for them! I only placed a 45.00 order and I get them for FREE!!!!!

So how much are the new WCC in the catalog? How much would I be saving if I buy now?
I'm pretty sure that I read that they will be 19.95 per color family...(and then something a bit less for neutrals, which are a new addition). Anyway, you would save about 20 bucks by ordering them now!
