Ladies, A couple weeks ago my laptop died. I took it to the repair shop and they called and said they could not retrieve any info off the hard drive. All the cookbook files were on there and I have no backup. So, unfortunately after months of working the project is dead. I am so very sorry to all of you. I have worked extremely hard and only had a couple pages of verifications to go and we would have been ready to send to the publisher. Call it karma or whatever but now I have a feeling this was never meant to be.

My sympathies. I'm betting you lost alot more than just the cookbook. Thanks for trying!

Oh My Gosh!! you must feel terrible! All your hard work, and for such a long time too trying to get it done, and then down to just the last few pages too. And I'm sure you lost a lot more things too. I'm so sorry for you...it was really a swell idea though!!
