Talking need ideas for intro

i finally took the plunge and signed up on Friday....(http://splitcoaststampers.com/forums.../icon_razz.gif
yipee!!!) now i am thinking i need to let my family and friends know what i am doing. i thought of sending them a letter (out of state people) and e-mails to the locals telling them and sort of introduce SU and maybe getting someone for a workshop....(if not then i would go ahead and do an open house.) i need ideas on what to write about, the company, the stamps, products? how should i word all this? is there a website which could help, or in the demo sections of this site or SU is there such a thinghttp://splitcoaststampers.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif

You might want to do a monthly newsletter. My demo sends one out via e-mail each month that details SU's specials, her specials, and any events she is hosting for the month. Some month she adds a techniques section: Ex. uses for versamark, popping pastels, etc. She also sends out a set of coupons for the year every Jan. They are specials she offers that have a theme depending on the month. I love my demo and this is how she keeps my business.

I would announce the news through a hand stamped card. More expensive and time consuming, but it will get the message across better than any other way! Good luck
