Martha Stewart at AC MOORE
I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but I was in AC Moore today and saw a whole section of the craft area being re-done for Martha Stewart products. No products were there yet, but a Martha Stewart backing was on the aisle wall!

Well, i personally think thats crazy.. We have a AC and a M's directly across the street from each other -- i would rather see AC bring in some new undiscovered stuff -- instead of the overpriced Martha stuff.. JMO.

I mentioned this a week or two ago on another thread that was discussing MS at Walmart. I was in ACMoore about 2 weeks ago with my boyfriend and just sighed and said oh boy Martha is everywhere. I know many like her stuff, but I just can't support her company. BTW: the local stamp store here is carrying some of her stuff too.

I think Martha is a little pricey also. I like her and love her ideas but I couldn't believe the prices at my local Michael's of her items. Even the stuff on sale was not a good price. She should come out of the box and think about lowering some of the prices and maybe people would buy more.
But I guess somebody is buying it since she is sprouting up all over the place.

The only time I have ever bought any MS stuff was when Michael's had some "coffee" bags. I think that's what they call them.. with the window on the front.. and they were marked down to .50 cents a pack of I don't know how many.. I bought them all, in the kraft and the white.. they still sit here! ha ha.. I too think the stuff is a bit pricey.. the MS stuff is on the very first row when you walk in the Michael's store I visit when I go to Springfield and I can very easily just take a left hand turn and not even go down the row..

I was in our local ACMoore last night (half a mile from Michael's) and the new display is exactly the same Martha Stewart stuff that's been at M's for the past year. Really wish they'd brought in someting Different!

Like the MS punches-good deal & they work well!
I know a lot of Martha's stuff is overpriced, but her punches are very reasonable. Especially since the punches work great and have not had any problems with the border punches, unlike the Fiskars ones. It would be nice if more of her things were more reasonably priced. I only buy with a coupon or when items are on clearance. I wish there were new things too, but must rememeber it takes time to put out a new product and all the other companies are the same way.
I miss AC Moore since moving to Michigan. We do have Michaels and Hobby Lobby, but HL does not take anyone else's coupons, and are a bit out of the way for me. So am a bit jealous of those of you with both AC & Michaels!

I love AC MOOORE! I hope they don't close around us because then all we'll have it Michael's & Archiver's and I really will have to spend more time shopping online.
Archiver's is carrying MS too. I have bought some of her glitter, but haven't used it. But I had an Archiver's coupon so I bought a MS scallop border punch and it works very well. I am impressed and pleased. I am considering buying a few more of the border punches as I have coupons. I like her CD holders because that would be a nice way to store my PTI stamps, but I can't spend $16.99 until they come in colors other than light blue, black, and coral. I want a soft green please!

It is great glitter! So fine it really does look like expensive glass glitter.
The only craft store that I have locally is HL. I would love for them to carry MS. I need some more glitter colors but, I don't want to spend $40 in gas to get it.

Well, I'm like a lot of you, MS stuff is way over priced and I don't think her ribbon is a very good quality nor do I like the feel of the paper they have. I'm also not very pleased that AC Moore carries her stuff when they could carry a lot more of other stamping stuff that is more affordable and more in line with what most people would buy. The stuff at Michael's looks a little dusty to me. I live in Spokane but visit in Virginia quite often to see my grandchildren so that is where I go to AC Moore, unfortunately we don't have one in Spokane nore do we have an Archievers.

I quite like Martha Stewart stuff. I had a subscription to MSL untill last year when I forgot to renew it. I don't know really if it is expensive because compared with prices overhere everything is very cheap in the US. But she has great ideas. And her craft products look very nice.

It could be because Martha Stewart's brand is manufacturered by EK Success, so they have a wide distribution, especially since the one-year Michael's exclusive is over.
AC Moore and Michael's are about 5 minutes from one another, so I think it's really dumb for both stores to carry the line. I don't think it did very well for Michael's, so it's questionable why tptb think it will do well for AC Moore.

I posted the same thing a week or two ago. I was also surprised to stumble upon MS at ACMoore. Although our store was just setting up the displays. I think her products LOOK nice, but I haven't tried them. They're sooo expensive. I can buy something similar for a lot less money.
