Talking jumping in

Hi there,

I love this site, i got so many good ideas, and plus knowing so many people love stamping! It is an addiction.

I am wondering if any of you thought a lot before jumping in,...that is where i am right now... I love stampinup but i think it would be hard to get people to buy from me, don't have many friends who stamp... On the other hand i think i could do it just for the discount i would get for myself. Has any body done that? Does it work as easy as it sounds????

Also i homeschool my 7 yo who loves to stamp, is any body in this same boat, where do you get the time to do stamping, and workshops???

Thanks for all your help, keep up the good works of art!!!

It took 2 years of gentle pushing from my upline to get me to sign up.

I told my upline about a week ago when I picked up my last order that the earliest I would sign up would be April but I would definately sign up by July. My DH asked what I wanted for Valentine's Day and I told him I wanted to be a demo. That was on Saturday, I called my demo on Monday morning and told her I had a suprise to show her. She was shocked to see me show up with my signed papers ready to go!!!! Now I am waiting patiently (okay trying to wait patiently) for my demo number and kit.

I don't think I would have ever signed up if it hadn't been from talking to everyone on this site (demos and non-demos). My confidence is growing that I can actually do this (I am just going to start as a hobby demo and if it goes anywhere great if it doesn't that is okay too because I truly love stamping!). I have a place now to go for great ideas and support. Not that I wouldn't get that from my upline, because I have been told that if I sign up as her downline I will not be disappointed and that signing up is worth it just for her Christmas Parties!

I have really thought long and hard about this and I am normally the kind of person that jumps right on without thinking (I have done Mary Kay and Avon and I did those within a week of learning about the "opportunities").

Make sure you are comfortable with your upline before signing up. Remember that you will also get lots of support from everyone here. Ask questions about anything you are unsure of.

I am very happy I finally did this.
