Important and Tragic Info from theCardLadies
Hello SCS old and new friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I have to share with you all that our family suffered a tragic loss this weekend... our home caught on fire and we lost everything including our 3 beloved poodles. My husband and I were about 30 seconds away from death ourselves, and I have just gotten home from the hospital. We both had severe burns, but mine were bad enough to keep me in observation for a couple of days. Now is the time to be thankful we both made it and are ok.
Being a home based business, that means theCardLadies is out of business, at least for now, and I don't know right now what our future holds. Ironic that it is on the eave of the debut of the member companies. But I have been blessed with 7+ good years as a vendor for a craft and crafters that I loved. I am very grateful.
I regret that my exclusive templates and tools won't be available for you anymore, several of you were waiting until Monday to buy and had told me so. And there are about 8 folks that are impacted because their orders burnt up. And of course they will be refunded. Including any new orders that have come in since Saturday morning. Fortunately, I worked my butt off last week and was really close to caught up, ready for Monday.
So thanks again for the warm welcome I got here, your business and friendship over these last seven years, and please say a little prayer for our sweet fur babies. that is the hardest loss of all.

I am so sorry to hear this and the loss of your fur babies. Having 4 fur kids of my own, I know how hard this must be. Thank God you and your husband got out alive, hurt, but alive. May your burns continue to heal and may He bless you as you rebuild.

My heart goes out to you..the loss of your furbabies must be devastating..i cannot imagine how i would hurt at the loss of mine like that. I am thinking of you and yours..just concentrate on your getting well..love and ((((hugs))))))..Gail

How devastating!! I'm sorry for your terrible loss, company and your special fur babies. I can't imagine. I am so glad you were saved from even more tragedy by coming out of it alive. I haven't purchased from you but checked your site often. I have heard many good things about your company. Maybe in time, healing physically and emotionally from this, you may someday try this venture again. Many prayers to you and your family.

I can't believe this. I had just received the "www.theCardLadies.com has sent you a package" email on Friday. I am so sorry! I know everything but your three babies can be replaced. How devastating for you. I'm hopeful that they're waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

OMG, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am so thankful you and DH survivied. So sorry about the pups though and very sorry about the business loss. Maybe things will take a turn and you will be back up and running soon but if not continue to thank GOD for his saving grace and be in prayer to desern what HE has in prepared for you and DH. HE has his own plans we just have to stay tunned to HIM to see what they are.
