Has anyone noticed Archivers being stingy with coupons?
I admit, I don't get down to my 'local' Archivers very often, but when I do I have to have a coupon to justify it to myself.:rolleyes:
I've noticed that since before Christmas I get maybe 2 or 3 emails a week. I also still get there snail mail newsletter about once a month/every six weeks. I haven't personally gotten a coupon in all that time! I do still get them, especially from here, but I'd really prefer to get them in my email and not have to spend a bunch of time hunting the 'net.
Anyone else been having this problem?

I haven't noticed a big difference in the frequency. I have noticed that they seem to be alternating between emails and snail mail coupons more often.
It may have something to do with the fact that you don't go there very often. I know here, whenever I make a purchase they ask for my phone number and find me in their system. So they keep track of how often I shop there. It may be a case where they send more coupons to you based on how often you shop.
I haven't really noticed a difference in frequency though...I did hear they are phasing out the snail mail ones altogether, but that could be a rumor like everything else. LOL

I haven't noticed a difference either. I did hear that some of the frequency depends on how often you shop there. I seem to get alot more via email and I do frequent them often.
Of course I posted this message last night.... Guess what came in my email today? ;) Although, kind of case in point, the coupon I got is only good until the 4th. Today is the 1st - like I can travel that far again with a 3 y/o?! Sheesh.

I haven't been getting their emails at all, and I used to get them. I shop there every month and they even re-entered my email info. I was surprised to see that this new coupon is only good for 4 days.
I thought the same thing so I asked. They told me that the coupons are now coming out monthly via email. They have decided that their snail mail will only be quarterly. I didn't think I was getting them monthly so some must be going into my Spam box? :rolleyes:

I shopped there alot in the last quarter of 2009, and used to receive their emails and the quarterly newsletter all of the time. However, since Christmas, I haven't received one single email or newsletter mailing. I always check my spam to make sure it didn't go there first. I don't know what happened, but sometimes I feel like its not worth begging for it...there are so many wonderful internet companies and I also have a Michaels and Joann's that I get coupons for all of the time.
I'm not at all surprised. The stores are hurting just like we (collective WE) are. While the coupons probably bring in business, they aren't making much profit off us while giving us 40% off unless we are also buying other things at full price.
Yes, I have noticed. For months, my coupons weren't being emailed to me. This happened to me and a friend, too, so I know I wasn't crazy. I started getting them again this last month. It's too bad because I usually buy more than just the coupon discount and paper coupons.
There must be someone in their store reading this bulletion board because I think I have gotten three emails recently with coupons in them for march. SO I guess all we need to do is write a message about them when we need some coupons!

I don't have one, and we just have Mike's & JoAnn's-
I have more coupons from those than I could ever use in my life...and no wants from either of the stores!
Mine are good until 1/2 through the month, doesn't seem to matter if they sent them on the 1st or today. Then when it's about 1/2 through the month all the coupons I seem to get will end on the end of the month.
