Well I swore to myself I wouldn't buy anymore dollar stamps!! BUT, I went into Michael's tonight with a friend and saw the $1 bin filled up with stuff so I just had to check and I came across the stamps.. OMG they are great sayings / words .. they even remind me of the writing on some of the SU stamps.. so I had to share/enable
You can thank me later after you shop and buy!! :p ;)
I was planning on going to Michael's tomorrow..I'll keep a look out for these..Thanks for the heads up. I think these will be great on some cards for Operation Write Home..perfect sentiments.
I got two sets because I just love the words as well as the fonts...nicest ones I have seen in a long time. My Michaels was very well stocked yet on Friday.
blessings.
I was almost ready to leave without the new sentiments as I didn't see them in with all the $$ stamps in a kiosk by themselves....but then I had a look in the bins that have lots of things in addition to stamps for one dollar and found them..so in my store they were separate from the old ones (Easter, spring etc)..so be sure and look in both places..I ended up getting 6..
I found a few of these at our Springfield IL Mike's and they do stamp nicely if you use a light touch. Didn't see all these choices, though, so of course I will have to go back...;)
Thanks for sharing those thoughts for these. As I said in my previous post I got 18 of them now I wish I had got them all. Maybe they will have the ones I did not get when I go back.
Annette...give me a list of the ones you want and I will check my Michaels for you..plus I just printed off the 25% off coupon so....good price too.
blessings.
those look great!! Our dollar deals are a 1.50, though $1 would have been better lol. Those are wood mounted? So far I've seen only the clear cling stamp in the bins at my Michaels. Need to go back and see if they have wood mounted stamp too. I may go nuts with them if I do. We all need a good splurge now and then!
Annette check your email for a picture of the ones I got for you...Anyone going to Michaels there is a 25% off your entire purchase coupon in the announcements forum...that brings the $1.00 stamps down to .75...not to bad
blessings.
I just returned from the Michael's at Hamilton Place, Chattanooga, TN and these same stamps are ringing up .......... 49 cents each!!!! The cashier asked me if they were all 49 cents and I told her I didn't know...I thought they were $1.00 each. I had a $5 off $25 purchase coupon, but couldn't use it so I gave it to the lady at the next register. Then the cashier asked me if I minded if she used a 25% off coupon on my total. Silly cashier!!! So I got 24 of these stamps and a bottle of paint (paint was an unmarked clearance item) for $10.17 including tax! I only put the paint in my basket so I could use the $5 coupon. Best trip I've had to Michael's in a long time.
If any of you go to this Michael's, the stamps are in the top bin of a tower display to the left of the entrance. Just head towards the scrapping supplies and you will run into it.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm in North Carolina for another week, got my sister to take me to the Michael's here last night and I got a bunch for a dollar each, and got the 25% off all.

Dianne... where in NC are you at? The store in Fayetteville and Pinehurst have lots of the stamps. hope you find some.
using that 25% off coupon was a big bonus.. I emailed it to myself so I could open it on my phone and the cashier scanned it from there.. cha-ching. super great deal on the sayings. Sadly I can't use any of them just yet.. all my stamping stuff is packed and on a semi heading to Texas.. I'll get it the end of July and hopefully get to stamping again.
thanks for the headsup on this stamps ~ Pam

I've been in our Michael's twice in the past week and have yet to see these stamps. The dollar stamps are the same old ones.
However, there are TONS of empty racks, and a bunch of stuff now marked at clearance (just in time for the 25% off coupon that doesn't apply to clearance merchandise, LOL!), so maybe soon...

I'm in Durham. I got 24 so I think I'm set for now. Thanks for thinking of me
Was able to find most of these, not quite all, but thanks to the OP for the heads up. I have been working on expanding my sentiments and these will really help!

My mom really liked the ones I got, so we are going to make a road trip to get some for her too. thanks again for posting about these ~ with moving, I hadn't been to town to the craft stores, but am so glad I read this and went.
