Great Grab Bag for Cheap
I just recently bought this grab bag and it was wonderful! It is a buy it now eBay auction and you cannot beat the price. You get a variety of over 100 fun stamps for $15 plus $6.95 shipping. Once my friends saw what I received, I placed another order on their behalf. If you take a look at "Purchases" next to "History" you can see I bought four more yesterday. He said they are all the same. I can't wait until he puts his second grab bag up for sale! As of now there are only 16 grab bags left.
Lot #1
seller - http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/steve-hampton
Good luck!

Have you received your grab bag yet? I just worry that some of the rubber may be dried out or something? It looks really nice.

Yes! I received my grab bag--there were over a hundred stamps (I counted). There were a couple of duplicates, but still a great bargain. There were flower stamps, collage stamps, travel, shoes, purses, palm tree, front porch scene, holidays, sentiments, ect. One of my favs is a large stamp of some ladies wearing clothes 20's. Great variety and nice deep rubber. I stamped them all out and showed my friends and they all requested a set.
The stamps come perfectly trimmed with self-adhesive foam already on the rubber. I leave the protective sheet on the self-adhesive foam and attach it (temporarily while stamping with it) to an acrylic block with double stick tape. Works like a charm!

Ok, with minutes to spare, I gave in. I went back again just to look - lol! This looks like a great deal. If I am not mistaken, these stamps are Hampton Arts. That would make it an Awesome deal!
Can't wait to see what I get. TFS and enabling.

Wow, I checked it and there were 11 available. In the time it took me to look it over, they all sold out. I was sitting here wondering why I couldn't find the 'watch this item' button.
Ah well, I'll be back to see lot #2. For that price I might be willing to make a leap.
They must be getting rid of old images, eh? Why else would they be selling them like this, in a big bunch and for so cheap?

I think the listing simply ended. You should check back for any relisting.

Darn! I ADORE grab bags! I went and looked and this one looked fantastic for the price. Used to be that you could find grab bags all the time, but not so much anymore.

I just checked and they must all be sold. Would you be willing to snap a picture or 2 (close up to see the stamps better) of a pile of them and add it to this post?

Hello-I took a look at this auction and there's still some available...sounds like such a great deal...Let me ask you all this...How do you guys do the mountings for these? Do you buy individual wood blocks? I am kind of a beginner to all this and wasn't sure...Thanks!

Thanks, Bonnie, for posting the deal! I ended up also buying a set and can't wait to get it! I traded one of my stamp sets for a bunch of new blocks someone here on SCS had, as she does unmounted stamping! So I hope lots of the blocks fit the stamps. She is sending me 70 some blocks, so at least SOME should fit. I have a few blocks also, but they need cleaning.
Thanks again for letting us know about this deal!

The auction has been posted again! With 50 lots available, as of 10:18 Central on 15 September. Here is the link; I hope it works! If not, the item number is 300258904652
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...652%26_fvi%3D1
For those wondering how to use them, I put double sided tape on an acrylic block. I leave the protective paper on the stamp and just put the stamp on the acrylic block for temporary adhesion. Use it, clean it, and take it off to store. OR you can do what bemidjibelle did and get a bunch of wood blocks from someone who has unmounted their stamps.
Pipergirl, I'm not tech savvy enough to post a picture. Sorry. But, I will say it was like Christmas checking out all my new images!
I'm looking forward to hearing from those who bought a package. How did you like it? He said he is going to post Lot #2 later this week!
With warmest regards,
Bonnie

To mount these you can use...
1. EZ Mount (CLING) Repositionable sheets offer you the look and feel of traditional rubber stamps, providing you stability in application with it's cushion-mount. Simply adhere your cut rubber image to the permanent side of the repositionable sheet, cut around your image, then mount to the acrylic block using the repositionable "cling" side.
2. Double-sided tape/tabs are cost-effective methods of mounting your rubber stamps. Found in almost every paper crafter's supply box, doubled-sided tape offers a fast alternative to mounting your rubber stamps.
)
3. Aileen's Tack It Over and Over glue is a less often used method of mounting rubber stamps to acrylic blocks. This glue is available through most craft stores. After applying to the back of the stamp and letting dry over night, the resulting product is repositionable and works perfectly with acrylic blocks.

jpmayo: They are Hampton Arts stamps. I just took a look at their website: http://www.hamptonart.com/index.html but did not see any of the stamps listed. Frustratingly, a number of the links were broken. But you will still be able to get the feel for the type of stamps they have.
akfbetts: The old listing number will work to bring you to the old expired auction. You will be able to see a link to the new and fresh auction. They look almost just the same. The old one will say something like "Auction has ended" at or near the top and it will show that 11 items are left.
Cheers,
Bonnie

I just picked up a set too. The first stamps I ever bought were in a grab bag. Even if only 1/2 of them are great, it's so worth it. 100 stamps for 21.95 with shipping? There is nothing better!

I just got my set in the mail today!!!! Quite a few flowers, but also lots of sayings, some cute girly girl stamps (shoes, purses, models), some old timey looking stamps, AND a whole alphabet with little blocks. I am pleased! Now if I can just find enough wood blocks for the 101 loose stamps!
