Default ATG Tape Gun 20% off!

Gluebug is offering 20% off anything thru the end of May. I purchased the ATG tape gun, a couple of refills, and a glue pen. They have flat-rate shipping as well, which makes this a very good deal! Go to http://gluebug.com and check it out.

It's not that great of a deal since they don't even have them in stock...and it's the same price as framing supplies has it for ...

just FYI

Shipping was cheaper. I got all of my items for less than buying just the gun at Framing Supplies.

shipping is only $3 cheaper...but the difference is that your place ships USPS Priority and FS ships UPS...so that's why the pricing is different....

but they still don't show any in stock....

Default Thanks for the info

I have the ATG yellow gun (Love it! & purchased it from framingsupplies.com) and would like the red 1/4 ATG gun. It looks like a great deal. Please let me know how your experience is and how long it takes you to get your items. I searched their sight (gluebug.com) and can only find a e-mail address for contact. That scares me a little. I like to have some other type of contact info. (like phone and address). I have searched the board and haven't come up with any other info on gluebug.com.

If anyone else has used this company please let me know about your experiences.

Thanks

Kelly

Ok this really got my attention. Which one would you suggest? I was thinking the 1/4 inch but I don't know. I figure I could always make two passes if I needed more. Thanks for posting this it may just be what I need to push me over to buying it.

I ordered my ATG from Glue Bug earlier this week. I was disappointed that it wasn't actually in stock, but since I have put off purchasing it until now, a little bit longer won't be a big deal for me. For the amount of tape I wanted to purchase, Glue Bug ended up being cheaper than Framing Supplies when I figured them both out. I've read that many people just get the 1/4" and if they need wider, run it twice.

When I purchase my 1/2 inch ATG, I had a ton of mono left (still have quite a bit). So, I purchased the 1/2". I love the 1/2 inch. But, it doesn't work well on grosgrain ribbon (too wide). So, I figured if I could get a great deal, I would get the 1/4 inch. I think it would be too time consuming to change back an forth from 1/2" to 1/4" with the attachment.

If I was purchasing my first ATG gun, knowing what I know now, it would be the 1/4 inch.

Choc0holic,

When are they expecting your ATG order to be in? Is this the first time you have you have puchased with gluebug.com?

Best Regards,

Kelly

Kelly, I got an email saying they expect to ship my ATG next week (not too long of a wait). I also emailed you with my email address. Thanks!

I just ordered mine from http://armelcompany.com. So far I am really impressed with the service! The people there are really helpful. I ordered the 1/4" one, I got the last one, but they have more on order. They will ship fed-ex. I should have mine tomorrow! I ordered yesterday and just called in my cc info. They do not list prices on their site, just drop them an e-mail and they will get right back to you with the prices. The atg's are $33.00. The tape prices are a little less than framing supplies. The woman I spoke to is a scrapbooker, but not a stamper, so she is really helpful.

I too figured I could just make a second pass if the 1/4" is not big enough. THanks for the info on the ribbon, I was wondering how the tape worked with ribbon.

I just went to the site (gluebug) and can't find the 1/4" ATG only the 1/2". Can anyone direct me to that right spot? Thanks so much.

It was there last night. I had it in my cart. When I visited this morning it told me it had been removed from my cart and was no longer available. Figures just when I make up my mind to buy something it's gone. I guess I need to go the the other site you ladies rave about. www.framingsupplies.com right?

The ATG tape works great on grosgrain ribbon. I used it for some altered item and cards. I find with the 1/2" that I have to roll the extra goo off the edges the 1/4" should be easier.

The 1/4" ATG gun was on the same page as the 1/2" when I was checking it out yesterday. I guess I'll wait.

Thanks, PMR!

I called the 1-800 at armelcompany.com they sell framing supplies wholesale and their customer service is wonderful! I spoke with Lynn, she's a moderator on a scrapbooking site and one of her scrapbooking friends is a member of SCS.

They have a flat rate shipping of $9.25 Fed-Ex anywhere in the country, so that can be daunting, but I got the 1/4" gun for $33 and their 1/4" tape is $2.60 acid-free and $2.27 for non-acid-free. They're expecting the guns to be back in stock before the week is out. They'll email the tracking info, once they get the shipment in.

I'd been wanting to get an ATG for a while, thanks for the tip!

The ATG 700 gun that I have uses the 1/2" tape. You can buy an attachment so you can use the 1/4" tape. It is yellow.

The ATG 714, I believe is the red gun, only uses the 1/4" tape.

I got my shipping notice from Gluebug this morning. Their communication is great...even though it wasn't in stock when I ordered earlier this week (and I didn't know that at the time), I appreciate their openness and honesty. I ordered the 714, which still isn't showing up on their website, but it may be again soon.

I received my atg today from armel company. They shipped it fed-ex yesterday. They are in Massachusetts and so am I so it was super fast. I ended up with the display. I called Lynne with a question today and she was so quick getting back to me, I was at the bus stop waiting for my son and missed her call! I highly recommend them!
