Default Archiver's coupon?

My sister and I are trekking for the first time to the "local" Archivers. (It's probably an hour drive for me.) Suggestions welcome. Coupon links absolutely appreciated!

Is this silly or what? Getting excited about visiting a new store ....

I don't think it is silly at all--I get excited every time I go to Archivers. I have been to the Archiver's in Katy, TX and it is great!!! A friend and I have also taken a couple card classes and they are wonderful as well. There is so much to see it can be a little overwhelming but the employees are very helpful if you are looking for something specific. I get coupons with the flyer that is sent out monthly. Have a great time!!!

Suggestion: Have the clerk at the register add you to the mailing list, so you'll get coupons in the mail for next time.

Have been to the one near my home lots and and have taken several of the classes that they offer. Don't know about TX stores but the one in Cincinnati is great! One suggest: take a credit card or empty the bank account first.....you'll need the money for all the great "stuff" your gonna want.

Tracey - now you're scaring me.

I have to admint - the responses I've been getting from my threads have been quite amusing! This one and the "who's from Texas"

I'll be stopping by late afternoon tomorrow. We're meeting at 3. I can't exactly say hi/bye that fast .... so leaving H6 area about 4-4:30.

I always head straight for the clearance section and $1.99 bin first. Then I wonder endlessly around the rest of the store!!

Okay, ladies ~ the nearest Archiver's to me is about 2 hours away, so I haven't even been to one. I checked out their site and there's a great picture of a huge store.... but I was just wondering ~ what are some of the product lines they carry? I'm curious what stamp companies and paper companies they have there. I might get a chance to go there.... in August!! So I should be prepared

TIA!

Definitely do this. They send out coupons every month or two. The Katy Archiver's is awesome and you will love it. I'm a regular there and it is a great store for both stampers and scrapbookers. They have a great stamping section.

Love love love Archivers! Of the stamps the ones that are "Archivers Exclusive" are SO CUTE!!!! They have a new line of cards, the "yours truly" AWESOME. You can get packages of 10 of the cards already cut and scored with matching envies! And all that jazz! It's way cool and the colors are great! I've been stocking up on some of the colors and sizes! I hope you have a ton of money to bring!

Update:
The store was not as big as I expected but .. since it still took us 1.5 hours to browse everything - this was not a horrible thing. I bought a few things .... (I was good!). Those $1.99 bins have some wonderful stamps in them! I was mentally starting my wish-list. We're both on the email list now and I did tell the cashier that the web-site should tell folks that the email list is in-person only. Page not found ... is a no-no.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I also now know a faster way to get there. 20 minute drive now.

Oh. I also appreciate my local LSS more now (Scrapbook Village). I know they carry a TON of stuff.

I wasn't impressed with the Sterling Heights or Novi store. They aren't as big as what they show online.

I just went to an Archivers a few or so ago in St. Paul, MN and I had a blast. I took the acrylic scrapbook class and I loved that project. But my sister gave me a coupon to use and I bought an eyelet case - its very retro looking, a circular little luggage thing and you open it and it holds six cases that have six compartments for little things (like brads and eyelets). It has a carrying handle - its cool looking, practical, and I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT so I bought it! But I love going to see different things that I don't get to see at my local stores.

Oh, I love Archivers also. I've been to the one in Colorado Springs and it is wonderful. The nearest one to me is Boise, so I send my coupons to my niece who lives there and if there is anything I need she can get it for me. Although I'm making a trip there in November, so I will certainly check it out for myself at that time.

That is the one I will be going to in Colorado Springs. We were there last year but I didn't go to Archivers because I didn't know what it was - now I could kick myself. But I am going back for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb! So, I will make a BIG point to get to the store this year. I have already checked out their closing times and I will make it there in the evening. I wish we had one closer.....

I've been going to Archiver's for years and get the coupons in the mail. They offer 5 free pieces of cardstock every month (with NO purchase) and sometimes a free $1.99 Hot Spot item with purchase. When I filled out a survey saying they needed regular coupons to compete with Michael's and JoAnn's, they must have listened, because now they frequently have 30%-off coupons that I use for Marvy and McGill giant punches. Be sure to check out the clearance area (as someone else said) - real deals there!

I love Archivers too except the $1.99 clear stamps should be $1.00 like the ones at Michaels & Joanns sells. Other than that, it's a great store with cute stuff.
