Smile AMAZING sale on e-bay of former SU demo's personal supplies

Just wanted to give you all a "heads up" about seller "zoelabmom" on e-bay. Her mother was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator who sadly had to give up all stamping due to her health. You just cannot believe the amount of "stuff" she has to sell. Quite a bit of what I saw was free shipping and very low shipping outside the U.S. You'll have to check that on each posting. Hope you can find something there you've been looking for...it looks like she had one of everything they ever made!

Happy Shopping,

There are over 4,000 listings for Stampin Up stamps on eBay. I gave up trying to find these.

No, no, no....LOL!

Do like Leslie said, enter the seller's name "zoelabmom." You will need to click the "advanced" choice on right after the "category" box on the main page. In fact just click on the link that Leslie [post #4] so kindly provided. Then, because her listings are for so many items she has them in groups. Each group has mulitple pictures and you can see them so much better if you use the "enlarge" feature below the picture. And then click on each of the other pictures that show up to the side. THEN...this is the really cool part...when you decide which item you like you just go to the field where the name of the item would normally be...it will say "select." Do the dropdown box. Anything that she has already sold is "greyed out." Items that are still available are dark colored. The price changes as you change your selection. Too cool. Took me a minute to figure it out myself since I am so new to e-bay. Try it again. Happy Shopping!

Kathy, my daughter just showed me how to get around e-bay myself recently. Believe me...LOL...maybe it's better if you don't know!

Well, I gotta say, I've always hoped that if something happened to me my family wouldn't just take it all to Goodwill, or GASP throw it all away. I'm glad she's finding good homes for her crafty stuff.

I agree. I don't want to have to page through each listing to try to know what the price is. It was too frustrating for me.

She has some great prices but it was very disappointing to go into each listing only to find most items were gone. After looking at her items, I searched the rest of ebay for SU punches....can anyone explain why people are selling/people are buying current punches for waaaay more than they are priced in the catalog? It doesn't make sense to me..add on shipping and you're paying almost double for punches available right now. Weird.

Some people would rather "do" ebay than get involved with a home-party plan like SU!, especially if it means doing business with a total stranger (= demonstrator) or traveling a distance to create a relationship with an individual. I have a demo for most things. However, I admit to buying retired and hostess items on ebay only after checking the most recent sales prices and determining the maximum I'm willing to pay.

Is isn't in regard to these particular items for sale on eBay but a comment in general. There seem to be so many people afraid or nervous of using PayPal, eBay, Facebook, Twitter, etc. For those that are nervous, I highly suggest that they do some research and learn the ropes for these mainstream sites. These mainstream sites are safe and secure so long as you're very careful with your passwords and credit card information. And, most importantly, don't fall for those "too good to be true scams". Your hesitancy might be costing you some really good deals that are legitimate, but I suppose that isn't a bad thing if you're trying to keep to a budget

I'll share a hint I was taught a few years ago. Open another checking account. Only keep $100 in there at most. Then use THAT account when messing with PayPal. *knock on wood* I've had no problems with PayPal or eBay and I'm strictly keeping to this practice. When I need more cash in the account - I simply transfer more over.

That's me! I have been kind of screwed over by SU demo's. It's made me a little jaded on the demo thing. I have one demo I trust but she is not really active any more. I even thought about becoming a demo so I could build my SU supply but it wasn't a good time in my life to do that. No letters! I know there are a lot of great demo's out there. I just don't have luck finding them. I am more comfortable with Ebay now. I am a patient girl. I can wait for everything to retire. I know someday I will hit the demo jackpot.

Those are great prices on her sets of stamps. It's just sad she has to sell all that inventory for her Mother. My heart goes out to them. I hope her Mother's health gets better.
