I have used JoAnn's coupons at Michaels before but they only accept the newsprint coupons, not computer reprints. It seems that different Michaels stores have different rules however.
Does anyone know if Michaels accepts sales ads from competitors?
I would ask for the store manager , where you go and ask the question. I was in a AC moore near where I live, and I asked the manager at this store, the same question, and his response was yes, as long it was a brand name For example Sizzix. So I would go ahead and ask the question, it doesn't hurt to ask, the worst they could say is no. But to me, if they want your business bad enough , then they'd say yes.
I went up to the customer service desk and there is a red sign saying they will take competitors coupons and match the prices in competitors ads. Some restrictions apply.
So I went and picked up the paper I wanted (that matched the JoAnns ad I had) and took it to the front. I handed the ad first to the checker who looked at me like I was crazy and told me very loudly that 'we don't do that'. I pointed then why do they have a sign right there (in front of her) that says you do?
She proceeded to call her manager and snottily asked her if they did accept competitors ads. She was quiet for a moment and was then apparently given instructions on how to check me out using the ad! Woohoo!

Good for you! I'm glad everything worked out for you! That was too funny with the sign! Especially with the sign right in front of her! Now you know, that they do it, and what to do if the situation should occur again.
