It's the middle of a sizzling hot summer----and that means time to make Christmas cards! CHA is over, but it's still hard to find new Christmas stamps, dies, papers, etc. I've seen new stuff from Spellbinders, Tim Holtz, Memory Box, and Impression Obsession. Any leads on some other companies that are showing new Christmas and winter themed products? Anything exciting you?
I just ordered over $100 of stamps and dies from Flourishes new Christmas release!! Can't wait to get them...already gathering up the paper and embellishments I want to use with them.
The a•muse studio catalog goes live on 1 August and I'm ready to order several of their new Christmas sets! I love that they've got jingle bells now and chevron paper in Christmas colors.
Technique Tuesday has some: Twinkle On (Keep Calm inspired); Be Jolly (tree and bulbs and words); and three new ones from Ali Edwards (Christmas Banners, Jingle all the Way and Magic of Christmas). The Ali ones are mostly word ones.
I'm adding to the list the new Christmas dies from Cheery Lynn.
On the other hand:
I can't find the 2012 Christmas catalog for Hero Arts---don't see it on their web site. Anyone have a link to it? Flourishes had all their old Christmas stamps on sale, but I don't see any new ones.
Carole, I went into your blog! I love the Christmas cards you made with the BE OF GOOD CHEER paper, and the ornaments bundle. I had no intention of purchasing this bundle, until I saw your work!! I LOVE IT!! It's now on my list, along with the paper, and several other paper packs. I try not to get sucked in to the new stuff, but this is great!! You are such an enabler!! LOL!!

I'm glad I could help lol!!! I do love that bundle. I have a bunch of them stamped and die cut. Part of them folded in half to make ornaments with. If I could just stay home long enough I could finish them!!
We made a fun card for Christmas at stamp club today from leaf stamps.... shaped like a wreath. It turned out soooo pretty!
I just ordered the ornaments bundle and the festive paper-piercing pack today....Can't wait to play!
Ohhh I've been wanting that paper piercing pack and the one in the big catalog too! But you know, I just don't have any sentiment stamps. So this month's budget will get Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Modern label punch, Word Window punch and some more cardstock.
I second Heartfelt Creations, their Christmas collection released Wed. with a collection of stamp sets, dies, and new matching designer papers! They are super gorgeous and go with the poinsettia stamps and dies already out.
All the new Christmas things are coming out right now...i need to get cooking on cards and gifts! Blessings! Kathy

Here's something a bit different. From Stampin' Up, this stamp set is called French Foilage. I love the look that this leaf print and paint spatter stamps give this wreath The tree is from the set called Joyous Celebrationns and the start is from Merry Minis. We made this card at my Upline's stamp club yesterday and it was such fun. You rock Pam!!
I am loving some of the new Penny Black Christmas stamps - the Margaret Sherry animals ALWAYS make me smile - so I ordered One Scoop which is a cat and Joy to World which is clear set of hedgies, dogs, cats and reindeer. I was so pleased to see that there are 3 sets of Penny Black clear stamps which are Elzybells stamps by Elizabeth Bell reproduced by Penny Black - there are penguins, eskimos and some Bethlehem/Manger type images. I am also loving alot of the Hero Arts ones - so many to choose from and trying to make a SHORT list LOL!! I really love the clear set 'Designer Snowflakes' from page 3 of their Catalogue - so pretty! And they have some great sentiment sets with a fab selection of different fonts styles. I am always after Christmas sentiment sets that have a good range of font styles.
