SU colors retiring???

Hi everyone,

I just ran across someones B/S/T and they had listed some old olive paper and said that it was a retiring color!!! Tell me that's not true:( I love this color.

Has anyone heard if they are retiring any of the regular colors?

None of the 48 colors (Old Olive included) are retiring.

I have not been informed of any retiring colors for this year.....is it just paper or is it tags or boxes...because the tags abd some boxes are being discontinued...

maybe they are confused with the olive Stazon? looks like we're only keeping black and brown.

I just found the post and made a note to her that it is not a retired color...maybe she was just confused. Old Olive is still around!!;)

Could it be the 12 X 12?
They are "resizing" it to be a true 12 X 12 insteed of 11 7/8 X 11 7/8.
Maybe someone is clearing out the old, smaller size?

Is that strange that none of the colors are retiring? This is my first yr with su and I thought they retired colors every yr?!?!?! I'm confused! If they are not retiring colors then why are they retiring everything in color families(boxes, tags, etc.)?

As far as I am aware, they are introducing more colours, in another colour family!!

A lot of the boxes and tags are maybe being retired because they either were not great sellers, or they are "redesigning" them. They kept a few boxes in the more neutral colors. These designs maybe sold better than the others.

I think they've only retired colors twice in their entire history, and last year was the first major overhaul. If the die-cut items aren't great sellers it doesn't surprise me that they're discontinuing them. Another possibility is that they're changing the color options available in those packages, since only a few from each family are currently offered.

they are introdcing a new 'in color' line with 6 new colors
NONE of the 48 current colors are retiring
