Mono Multi glue & Clear Adhesive Dot bargains at Ollie's
If you are lucky enough to have an Ollie's Bargain Outlet near you check out the hardware dept. I found DAP OneStik2 Glue there for just $.99. It comes in a tube exactly like Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue and it works exactly the same way. I don't see any difference in the products at all.
They also have DAP StikARounds for just $.99. It's a package of 200 super sticky 1/2 inch diameter Archival quality Clear Adhesive Dots that look exactly like the ThermOWeb 3-D Zots that I've been buying at Mike's for a lot more.
Ack! I was just there today and walked right by the hardware department!! It sometimes makes me wish these people knew more about where to categorize things, but then again, we'd probably be paying a lot more if they knew what this stuff was.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to plan another trip down to that section of town soon!
The packages look different than the craft versions so I hope you don't have trouble finding them. If I knew how, I'd attach a picture.
I went back today to pick up some more glue and also found some 18kt gold leafing pens and boxes of 60 white inivitation envelopes for just 99 cents. You can find some great deals at Ollie's if you have the time to really dig through all the stuff!
I found those gold leafing pens at my Ollie's too! And the invitation envelopes were just $0.59 here, so you can believe I stocked up. Thanks for the heads-up about the packaging!

I was able to get out last night and get to the closer of the two Ollies. I saw the liquid DAP but was really wanting to get the dots and of course I couldn't find those. I also got a couple of the .59 cent envelopes and a pad of nice patterned paper for 4.99. They had lots of boxes of various scrapbooking stuff but I didn't see anything else that I needed. I was able to find something for my son for easter though -- a package of wooden train track for 5.00.
I love to look around (read- dig through boxes) Ollies, you never know what you'll find, it's like a treasure hunt. Thanks for the heads up!
I stopped in at our local Ollies last night and picked up a couple of these. Here's a picture for those that want to see what the package looks like. They were definitely in the hardware section, actually next to the silicone chaulk in our store.

Well, boo hoo, ours didn't have any. The manager said all he had was wood glue, and "certainly" no dots! Bummer because I missed out when Lowe's had these before.
Wow, there were lots at my store today! They had them in three different spots. If I had to guess, I'd say they had about 100-200 of each kind. Hopefully they'll be there for awhile because my personal fund is low right now so I only bought three packs altogether.
The dots are nice-sized, too. I think they are 1/2". At 200 dots to a pack, that's 1/2 of what I've been paying with a coupon at Michaels. (I tried the make-your-own, but they don't stick as well for heavy items.)
