DANG!!!! The Queen gets around!!!! Got my Card Maker magazine today and just casually flippin' through (also have one eye on SCS!) and pages 66-69 are dedicated to JULIE JULIE JULIE!!!!!!
Her Posy Purse is to drool over (PRAY for Mixed Bouquet to make a surprise return!), Sweet Pea is the cutest and her other cards are just wonderful too!!
One of many things that impresses me about Julie is her ability to transfer her creative thoughts to the written word for others to easily follow. So many of us are "visual" learners and Julie has giving instructions that even this ditz can follow!
CONGRATS to you Julie on yet being published AGAIN and having a featured article!!! (If this EVAH even happened to me I'd probably pee my pants!)

Hi, there! Thank you! Hope the article gave you some good ideas to try out! It was a fun one to write!
I took the magazine to work and showed everyone that I met the designer/author of this article....I said I even have a picture to prove it.;) You rock girl!!
Yea, Julie! I always love seeing your work! Apparently a little too much... I actually dreamed the other night that I was at a giant SCS get-together and Julie was there showing us her latest creation. It was a life-size purse made entirely out of cardstock and featuring a completely glittered surface with stripes of different colored glittered. (Sounds weird, but in my dream it was very impressive!) We all stood in a giant line and passed it down from person to person and oh'ed and ah'ed over it!
Have I told you all too much?! Anyways, I guess that's all to say that I always enjoy seeing Julie's artwork... on SCS, in magazines, in my dreams, wherever!

Miss Witty, do you happen to live in Louisville? ;)
Are you the same Miss Witty who knows a trick or two with Stampin' Up! Markers, Shapes & Shadows, Great Shapes, and Everyday Flexible Phrases all combined together to make these cute cards I just spotted in Winter 2006 Stamper's Sampler Take Ten??????

Well, Julie has done it again! Awesome creations!
And Jessica I love your work as well! I have cased several of the items in your gallery ... just beautiful work.
Congrats to both of you on being published!
(And Julie, how did you ever get your hands on that new Winter Take Ten issue already! I am dying to know who from SCS got in this time!)
Hey, Sarah! I was surprised to receive a comp issue; they'd held onto a design I'd submitted a looooooooong time ago, and put it in this issue, so I got lucky with a comp copy and went bananas over Jessica's 2 page spread!!!!
You GOTTA see it!!! The designs are SO cute, but so easy and simple--quite a brilliant trick she has featured!
Becky Groska is in there quite a bit, too! And, I spied MamaKimberly, Virginia Miermaster, Kim Wilson, Stephanie Leider, Dana Hatch, Kathy Skinner, Joy Sanchez, and a number of other stampin' friends!!!!
Unfortunately, I am able to recognize SCS userids, but they list real names, so I can't always match the real name to the userid to know for sure if I'm correctly identifying SCSers . . . :o
It's a great issue--lots of wonderful ideas and I'm very excited to see it will be published quarterly now! Woo hooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Julie the artist, Julie the kind sharing person..........
I got my Jan issue of CardMaker in the mail last week. As I was making my way through it page by page, I realized I would have to set it aside on page64 (Frosty Snowman) for days to prepare for Thanksgiving here at my place. THEN I see this thread today saying you are in the magazine on Page 66. Soooooo excited for you being published AGAIN! Love your work and this article is the greatest. Sharing your visions of quilts in my head also, so I was very intersted in all you had to say. Like was said earlier, your use of language and presentation is just delightful for us lay people.
Time to say TY for all you share and have taught me as a SCS. You are an inspiration.
