Special Gift From Shelli
The suspense is killing me since I am overseas and will receive mine weeks after everyone else. So, you fellow Demos out there - did you receive your special gift from Shelli yet? Care to share what it is so that the curiosity doesn't kill us? Please?

Well this is interesting. I resigned in November and they said my resignation would be effective Dec 1, but that of course SU would run the commission thing on Dec 10th. Then I placed an order on Dec 1 (I didn't think I could, but I did and the stuff is here). So, I'm hoping that I get the gift too!! I assume maybe a stamp set? Pack of ribbons? I hate being booted out of the demo forums 'cause I know you guys are rockin up there without me!! (sob) if any demo wants to take pity on me and pm me with the surprise I would be most grateful and would keep my mouth shut. (It's been known to happen!)

There's already a rumor on the demo forums from a person who says her downline got one in her startup kit. I pm'd you, but we are still waiting to confirm that this is what we are getting for sure. Still, no idea if you will receive one or not. Brand new demos are all a little worried that they will be left out, too.

Thanks, I've heard from several of you -- you are all the best. I would LOVE to get a free set, but this is one of life's little bumps in the road. If it comes it comes. If not, then....I'll probably buy it anyway! Can't second guess our decisions!

I didn't get anything in my demo kit (just got it on Tuesday) and I, too, thought I'd be left out. If so, I'd understand, but I'd be really happy to get something.

I resigned in August and just got a card from them earlier in the week saying that they're sorry to hear I'm leaving..... Hmmm wonder if I'll still get the gift too. Hah! Doubt it!

If I were Shelli (GRIN) I would send all demos a free set from the Simply Sent kits! That way, every demo could actually demonstrate them at workshops and not have to buy the full kit! If only SU would call and ask me for advice!

IDK - when I relocated overseas and it took me a awhile to have the commander sign my ackowledgment form - they dropped me IMMEDIATELY - no grace period at all! I guess that former demo who continued receiving the IBC got lucky...
Darn - no one is sharing what the free gift is .... the curiosity is driving me bonkers!

I don't know anyone that has got one, if it makes you feel better. Usually with SU, they give stamps as gifts, because they can produce the stamps themselves independent of other vendors.
Can't wait to see what it is!

Oh.....don't post this! It makes me wanna CRY that they haven't figured out that we NEED THESE! I've emailed them my plea to apparently no avail. I DID make the "blender pen" version, but over time it just soaks in and needs to be re-inked a LOT to get the true color. And I want the WRITING end! I write in my cards and address them in coordinating colors and sometimes I use ONLY the In Colors to make a card! Arrrrrggggggghhhh! I mean, REALLY! Just make us the doggone PENS already!

Please email me and let me know what the gift is - I hate waiting. I usually wrap the gifts the night before christmas because I cannot stand seeing them under the tree for all that time.

Yes, there is a section of SCS set aside for business-related discussions (workshop ideas, new product questions, help in building a new demoship, a BST for business supplies and finding sets for customers who missed the mini catty expiration date... stuff like that. Did you know that SCS was originally started as a support site for Tracy's (Daven's wife) downline, and her demo group name with SU! is Splitcoaststampers?

I believe there's a place in your User CP for managing group memberships. When I applied, I had to submit proof of my demo status by copying and pasting the welcome info from my opening page on the SU! demo site.

There is no fee for joining the demos forums. It is a group of forums just for SU demos (sadly, i used to be one so I know...). There is a forum on new stuff, a general forum and some ones devoted to get togethers, trades, business tips. It is an excellent way to learn the latest info on SU and the demos there are a lot of fun. [insert waving here!!].

The demo side is just that, a forum for demos only. Kind of a group I guess you would call it. In the demo forums there are business threads, swaps, trades, chit chat, resources ideas and inspirations, and support for demos.
