I just saw this thread and quickly ordered one....all that was available was white with white handle, but that sounds great to me as I almost bought one to day for full price, thinking that I would make it up for my daughter and daugther-in-law for Christmas presents with a promise to send them replacement "fills" for special occasions!
On the website it said that this coupon was good for only one item. Do you think I could go back and order one more and use the coupon? It would be sooooo nice to buy two of them at half price!
I used the 50 percent off coupon and ordered one of these 10 days ago--it should have been here by now, and TODAY they told me it's out of stock! It took them 10 days to let me know! I could have ordered one elsewhere, or at least stopped checking the doorstep! This is not the first time I've had poor customer service from joann.com, and I won't order from them again.
Has anyone ordered from scrapbooking-warehouse.com? They have the bags for 44.24; with 5.99 flat rate shipping, it comes to 50.23. Not as good as Joann, but sometimes you get what you pay for!!!!!
I can only hope that all of us receive our purses after reading the above post..........but why, would it now be showing "out of stock" and it did not show that when we ordered?????

I'm sure we will. Even if it takes a bit longer I don't mind. I'm happy about the price and its not like I have time to make my pages for it in the next 2 weeks anyway. By the time it gets here I'll have time to play!
Darn it! Should have gotten the white one when I had the chance! I can picture some really cute Christmas and Valentine designs with the white one (although I really wanted black and nickel). It's moot now!
lisastamper - same thing happened to me! I ordered the Z Becky bag 10 days ago ... today got the e-mail saying out of stock ... tonight got another e-mail saying back in stock! I've re-ordered it but not counting on getting it. I figure in a couple of weeks I'll receive another e-mail saying it's out again! Think they must only stock 10 or so items at a time!
By the way ... I am also in "beautiful Gig Harbor"! I live on the Key Peninsula. We'll have to get together some time!

I, too, received an email just today that they were back in stock. By the time I went to order one, they are out of stock again!!!! And of course, their promotion code coupon says it won't be honored on out of stock items. Very frustrating. I give up. I don't think I wanted one all that badly anyhow.
I'm sorry so many people have faced the same frustration I have, but it's heartening to know I'm not alone! I just have no idea why they would cancel the orders for those of us who placed them awhile ago, then announce they have more in stock before filling older orders! Ugh! I hope those who ordered today are luckier than I was.
I went ahead and ordered somewhere else--paid a bit more, but only about $8 more after tax, shipping, etc., than I would have at joann.com. Hopefully, I will get what I ordered this time!

Thats where I got mine, it shipped very quickly. I was going to have my purse class customers order theirs from Joanns, but I guess that idea is maybe not going to work.
Didn't I read somewhere that someone was selling them for $48 including shipping?

I just went back to Joann.com this morning and they have Z Becky in stock (the one with the bamboo handle), but the 50% off coupon has expired and been replaced with a free shipping coupon.
I got my Z Becky when they still had the 50% coupon. I'm sooooo excited to get it! I can't remember the last time I was this excited... probably my wedding! j/k ;)
If you sign up for the mailer, you should get your 40% coupon in the mail soon, if not already. I think it's good for a couple of weeks...you could use that coupon when they are in stock again!
