Prinny Gave Her UPS guy. . .
a Three Musketeers bar today for bringing her SU kit! Woooohoooo! She left him a note on her door that he should leave the package (because she was gone) and taped a candy bar on the note!
I, of course, asked if he took the candy bar, because if not, could I have it! LOL!
WOOHOOO! Prinny is an official Stampin' Up Demonstrator! Three cheers for Prinny. For all of you gals in OH, you better give Prinny a call and hook up with her for some great stampin' fun!
Congratulations Prinny!

Hmmmm, imagine my surprise when I logged on and there was my name and this announcement. For those wondering, I went on a field trip today with my DD's class and I knew my kit was coming. So, I taped a note to the door for my UPS man with the candy bar. He wrote me a note back saying "Thanks". I actually live in a very small town (classified a village in Ohio) so he probably would have left the package regardless ~ just thought that I would bribe him a little.
Thanks for the encouragement Lana ~ I'm so excited to begin my SU business.
PS ~ Lana, if you are grounded - what are you doing posting on SCS ???!!!!

Grounded!
Robin made me go shopping yesterday (on a day that I was grounded) and that lead to the double grounding today. Oh man! I hate when that happens!

QC - somehow I think the classification of Village in Ohio is different than your classification of village. I'm not sure what our population is ~ but you can actually "view" my village at www.doylestown.com. Oh, and my DH is on there too!!! And NO he is NOT the Mayor !!!!!

Prinny gave her UPS guy....
Congratulations on receiving your kit!
That's a great idea for your UPS guy. I'm usually home when my UPS guy comes and I make up cards ahead of time for when he's coming and personally hand him one. He laughs everytime and still tells me "you shouldn't have, but thanks"
I get a kick out of his little laugh and smile everytime he comes in the yard. The dogs greet him with as much joy as I do and when my DH is home the two of them talk tractors....the older the better...the rustier the better and if the tractor isn't running at all it's a bonus.
I'm losing my UPS guy to my DH. OH NO!!!!
I'm going to have to slip in chocolate too!

Congrats Michelle!!! Your going to love being a demonstrator!!
I can't believe I swapped with you at regionals and didn't even notice!!
Are you going to be leaving candybars hanging from the front door on a regular basis? I'll have to swing by your little village when I have a snack attack!

Congratulations Michelle on becoming a demo...you'll love it. Is Doyalstown near Canton? I'm an hour north of Canton. If you are that close and ever need anything...let me know.
Happy Stampin,
Teresa

I gave my UPS guy 2 pieces of cake tonight because he had to be out so late and who knows what time he'd get home. Maybe we should all start leaving little goodies for the UPS men/women, mailmen/women to show our thanks for deliverying all of our pkgs and RAK's.

That is what I will have to do when I become a demo. We are the LAST stop on our UPS guys route So we have to wait till 5PM sometimes 6PM for our shipments. It is such a bummer when the UPS office is only in Wausau which is 45 minutes from me

Doyelstown - Rang a bell but couldn't remember where the town is. Then I went to the web site and saw the location. I was born (1933) in Cuyahoga Falls but moved from there when I was 14. I have been back a few times but really have no family there.
What I miss most is fall with the colors. MEMORIES ARE MADE FOR THIS!
Congratulations on your SU demonstrator status.
