Nesties on clearance @ J's

I just got back from my local J's where I found nesties on the clearance rack for 9.97. Classic shapes, some flower shapes, labels 1, 8,9 and impressiblities. The tan mat was 4.97. Hope this doesn't mean they are going to stop carrying them, but I bet it does. Anyhow, I bought 2 sets and told my DH about them and he bought me 2 more sets. He's a keeper!

Mine is a small J's but they were on an endcap beside the adhesive section. Good Luck!

My one & only Joann's sold out of all Nesties & it doesn't look like they'll be re-ordering. The area designated for Nesties now have EK success slim line punches.

My JoAnn's in Mt Juliet, TN had them in the back against the wall in the clearance section, in a box with other items. Not in scrap section.

I couldn't find any at mine either. I asked two people about them and they had no idea what I was talking about. I asked them to look it up on their computer but they can only put in product numbers. Doh.

I'm kind of surprised about this, given their popularity on this site. Maybe they would have had more success if they had placed them next to the other die cutting stuff (Cuttlebug and Sizzix).

This happened at one I go to too except they had Tim Holtz stuff in the nestie place. I did find a HUGE display of those ek success slim line punches, I never knew there were so many lol.

I saw them on clearance last week on an endcap at my JoAnne's (Irvine, CA). I thought that was strange because I've been going there for years and have never seen them at that store before. There were only two or three left (I had that one already) of the same thing. I'm going to check another J's on the way home.

I kept reading this post and said I was NOT going to buy any BUT temptation got the best of me and I went to my local JoAnn's and no Nesties on clearance - but they doubled the section from the last time I was there and they were 40% off - they also made it so that you have to ask them to get the actual package for you - they have a number of cards on each peg - but that does not mean they have that number in stock - I wanted Blossoms - there were 3 tags on the peg but apparently none in stock when she went to get them but I did get the scalloped hearts which I have been looking for! Going to the Springfield show in June so hoping to get a couple more there!

I was at my local JoAnn's store this past Saturday and I asked if they had Nesties and the employee didn't know what I was talking about. She said, "what are Nesties"?

I don't have any Nesties yet, but I was hoping to see what they had My area never has any new or good supplies. I always have to travel over an hour to get any good supplies. Guess I could purchase some online, but I'd rather buy from a store and save on shipping.

Thanks for posting. I was thinking about heading over to the Irvine store tomorrow. Guess I can skip it. I bought two sets at the J's in Foothill Ranch a couple weeks ago. I went back last week to see if they had gotten any new sets in and all they had were the magnetic plates. I hope they're not going to stop carrying them.

I have no choice, but purchase things online since I'm overseas. But, I figured that many online stores have reasonable or even free shipping (with min order) and I save money on taxes. I'm from CA and taxes there are so high that they're more than shipping for some online stores.

I do hope Joann's doesn't stop selling them in their stores, but I found that they are still well stocked on their online store.

I noticed in my local ACMoore that they have recently added Nesties in their die cut section. Although they are priced at about $25 for label nesties, I think you could use your 40% off coupon too so it would be a saving over most other places but not as cheap as the clearance price you mentioned at JoAnns.

YIPEE !!!! Spellbinders - Nesties, Impressabilities are now at one JoAnn's in Portland, Oregon. The superstore at 3900 SE 82nd Avenue. They have about 20-30 to pick from and they are 40% off until May 22. The one I wanted, Hearts Scalloped, they were out of, but I got a impressabilities - Paisley, can't wait to try it.. The sales clerks told me their first two shipments were stolen, oh my. They weren't sure when they next shipment would be in but their supplier is unable to keep up with the demand, duh !!!! The clerk said only four stores on the west coast got the spellbinders, one in Olympia, Washington, Portland, Oregon and the other two must be in California but not sure. I did try to special order the scalloped hearts but you can't, bummer.... first come first choose

At our J's in Rochester, they have very few. The cashier commented that they are constantly getting stolen. Appearently people steal them and then sell them on Ebay

I found 2 sets of Nesties for $9.97, I don't think they did to well at Joanns.

All the way in the back of the store on the back wall over by the upholstery fabrics on a roll. You'd would think it'd be by the scrap book section, not....I have found some big clear stamps to only for $.97 too originally $9.99

I went by Joann yesterday and picked up a set of Nesties. It looks like they're still carrying them. They're using cards that you have to give the cashier so they can get the Nesties from the back. Probably because of theft. The sets are 40% off right now.

My local Michaels had a few Nesties this week! They never had them before, so I used my 50% coupon that they gave me on my receipt last week and got the plain circles. I already had the scallops. But their selection is very small! But I hope this means they will have them on a permanant basis!

I mentioned to the cashier today that I was surprised that they didn't have pick up cards to purchase them, like they do for the Cricut cartridges and machines. She looked at me like I was crazy. "Why would we do that? Are they popular? I think you're the first person through my line this week that's bought any." So weird!!

My Joann's is the biggest in DFW and I found some clearanced last week. Quite a few actually, but I clearly was not the first as after I'd bought one of each I didn't have, there were maybe two packs left. I also used a coupon (thought an item I had wasn't on sale, but it was) and it took 40% off one of the 14.97 Nestie packs. Didn't figure that out until I got home and was surprised! They also beefed up their Nestie selection in the regular aisle. Weird thing is, they only got Nesties about a month ago. The Tim Holtz section is piddly, but hey, at least they have some!

However, most of the stuff in that Joann's is clearanced. It's a two story store and they're planning on taking out the entire second floor (all of the fabric and home decor items) and moving that downstairs. So, they're seriously downsizing their stock. I'm sad as that's the best selection of any store like it in town! However, I've gotten some great deals on candle making, soap making, and bath stuff making kits and items as those have been majorly clearanced for a while. They're apparently getting rid of that entire section. Sigh.

For those of y'all in Dallas, it's the Forest and Preston store.

Sadly, I've been to my 3 closest Joann's and haven't found any nesties, either on clearance or regular aisles.. The good news, though: all paper crafting supplies were 40% off! The good and bad news: I bought stuff at all three stores! I got two great ek success punches, new style; and 3 staz-on stamp pads, among other stuff.
