Default card comments?

What does it take to get comments on your cards? I guess the comments will come later, but at least people are looking at my cards.

I think we all like the feedback! I think your cards are great and left some comments! Love the way you're incorporating the CB into your cards. I just got one and haven't gotten the hang of using it in projects yet!

Good question?

I really think its the time of day that you place your cards in your gallery.

Some people really love to look and save to their favorites.
But don't like leaving comments.

I know that there are some Comment Threads going around here on SCs. Maybe jump on that thread.

Here is the link to that thread...It's in General Stamping:

Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Also adding a link to your gallery in your signature line might help too.

Just keep on uploading. Put them out there, they will come. That is a darling card you loaded to day. Keep up your great work and don't give up hope.
I find that more people comment on the challenges because there are great group of challenge chasers that are very generous with their comments. Timing is a factor especially on the challenges.

one of the best way to get comments is give comments! I have "found" some of the most amazing galleries by checking out the galleries of those people who have comment on my gallery.

I agree~ I recently have made it a habit to check out the galleries of those who comment on mine after someone mentioned it on this site! I love doing it now (don't have the faintest idea why I hadn't thought of it myself...). I know that timing is everything for me. I sometimes go days w/o having the time to leave comments b/c of working and running with the kids etc. But, also reallize that it feels great to get comments, especially those that are specific about what they liked or suggestions (helps my learning curve . I also have found that if I put in the description that I am looking for suggestions bc I think something is missing, etc., I tend to get more.

Connie, I just went over to your gallery and posted a some comments! As a brand new gallery holder myself, I know what you mean. I definitely recommend adding a link in your signature. And I too look at the galleries of those who post comments to my stuff! (Even though I don't have that much to look at, yet;) ) So post away and have a great time!

I think your gallery looks very nice. Sometimes comments trickle in slowly -- someone will be looking under a particular stamp set for an idea and come across a card they like (yours perhaps) and leave a comment.

Keep leaving comments for others and eventually curiosity might lead them to inspect your gallery. There are so many stampers on this site now it is hard to keep up with a lot of folks.

Another fun way to introduce your artwork to a lot of folks at one time is maybe to play in a VSN. The next one is September 7 and 8 and you generally receive a nice lot of compliment or comments on submissions.
