Kar I for one LOVE the cow-chip event-maybe you can at least get it put in as a spectator sport at the Olympics in 2008. We are sure you will represent SCS land very well.

Britta, what happened to cow bell man? I'm missing him. I have to laugh because when I pulled that up last night, the cow bell man was playing right in time with a song that was on the television at that very moment!

Those animated gifs and big signature lines with the pics and cartoon images take up tons of bandwidth and cost teh site more $$$, and is hard for people on dial-up to load into. I sadly had to lay him to rest and hope that he leaves you with fond memories.

And next time you have a fever, remember the prescription...... is more cowbell.

Christi-the cowbell was a little animated .gif I had that was Will Ferrell from SNL. They did a fake "Behind the Music" with Blue Oyster Cult and how they recorded "Don't Fear the Reaper."

Everytime I even think of that skit I smile. I miss cow bell man on your avatar too, Britta, but it makes sense that it would take up a lot of space.

Yeah, I just got caught up in cowbell fever when I posted him!!! I have him and I have a lot more i found for different times of the year.
But really as cute as he was, all those extra flashy things that people add on take up space and $$$ from SCS. So sadly he wil be a memory here on SCS! :cry: but so worth it to keep this site in top form!

Thanks for sharing this link again. :) I love SNL. I tried the link today and it did work. It was so hilarious! :lol: The funny thing was I had opened it up in a new window and then came back to SCS to play while it loaded. We have dial up so it is SO slow! :cry: I had TOTALLY forgotten that I had opened it up to play the skit. I was happily reading through the forums when all of a sudden music was blaring from my speakers! :lol: I jumped out of my chair and almost screamed it scared me so bad! Good thing I wasn't drinking anything and had recently made a trip to the ladies room! :lol: Gotta love Will Ferrell's shirt, huh? :) That skit was so funny! I might have to find a cowbell around here somewhere.

Yeah...I think he is very funny but I have to agree with you that he's not on my eye candy list. I just thought that shirt was too funny! When he really started getting with it playing the cowbell his shirt kept coming up and he would have to pull it back down. He was really in to playing that cowbell! :)
