Default WAY TO GO SU!

In the demos part of the Stampin' Up! website it just noted that Stampin' Up! reached its goal of raising $250,000 through the sale of alpahbet sets ($5 of each set was donated), and that is in addition to the $250,000 they donated immediately after the tsunami hit.

So..SU has donated half a million dollars to Tsunami relief in the past 2 months-pretty amazing! Just another reason I love being part of SU's team!

YAHOO! That means that SU! sold 50,000 alphabet sets in two months! Way to go ladies (and guys)!

While we're tooting Stampin' Up!'s horn, October 1st to November 16th, 2004, Stampin' Up! made available the "Hope Is . . ." stamp set to promote cancer awareness. $2 from the sale of each set was set aside to give to the Huntsman Cancer institute. On January 23, 2005, Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up! cofounder and CEO, and Jerry Day, Stampin’ Up! president, met with officials from Huntsman Cancer Institute. Shelli and Jerry presented the internationally renowned cancer research facility with a check for $82,796, the total amount of money earned through the Stamp Out Breast Cancer fundraising campaign. The funds will be used exclusively for breast-cancer research to benefit cancer patients all over the world.

The total actually raised by the sale of the Alphabets stamps exceeded the goal of $250,000.00 SU, its demos and custoomers raised an astonishing $328,870 US in addition to the $250,00.00 donated to the relief fund by the company itself.

Stampin' Up! just rocks!!!!! It's amazing just how much they donate to such things like the tsumani and breast cancer research. Not to mention the donations they make each year to organizations in Utah and the Ronal McDonald houses around the country.
It's why I love what I do and love to share it so much with others.
