YAHOO! That means that SU! sold 50,000 alphabet sets in two months! Way to go ladies (and guys)!
While we're tooting Stampin' Up!'s horn, October 1st to November 16th, 2004, Stampin' Up! made available the "Hope Is . . ." stamp set to promote cancer awareness. $2 from the sale of each set was set aside to give to the Huntsman Cancer institute. On January 23, 2005, Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up! cofounder and CEO, and Jerry Day, Stampin’ Up! president, met with officials from Huntsman Cancer Institute. Shelli and Jerry presented the internationally renowned cancer research facility with a check for $82,796, the total amount of money earned through the Stamp Out Breast Cancer fundraising campaign. The funds will be used exclusively for breast-cancer research to benefit cancer patients all over the world.
