Michael's Sizzix Alphabets 9.97ea.
I just got back from Michael's and their sizzix/sizzlets alphabets reg. price 169.00 are only 9.97. Yep! not a typo!! They are clearancing them out. Here's the bad thing, our Michael's left on the sale price on 69.00 and never put 9.97 on them but once you take it to the register they are 9.97. I told them that if they put 9.97 they would sell like hotcakes but the clerk said they didn't have time. Go check it out!!

sizzix letters
Yep they are that way in some Buffalo stores too. The cage has them marked at 69.99 but if you go down the isle, the empty cases are marked 9.97..we had 8 different styles. Even though I have the cricut expression, I had (yes had) to get them all...can't pass up a great deal. I think I will let the kids use these in their scrapbooks etc. as I am a little nervous to let them use the cricut alone.

I checked the Palm Bay store last week when someone posted about Michael's clearance sale, but I didn't see anything I couldn't live without. IIRC, someone had posted then about the sizzix's being on sale.
That said, I am planning on stopping in at the Viera store on my way home from work this afternoon.

I got 2 yesterday, and the clerk let me use my 50% off coupon for 1 of them, so I got 2 alphabets for 15.00. Got to love a good deal

Just wanted to share that I went to my Michaels here in College Station, TX at lunch. They were marked $69.99 and I asked the cashier to do a price check and they were all $9.97. She was shocked and a little hesitant.
I asked her if the prices were loaded at corporate or local levels. She said corporate. I told her I had found out about the sale on this forum and she said they would soon be flying off of the shelves at that price.
Hope this helps some of you.

Thank you for the info. I saw them at my Michaels and they were marked 69.99 - so I figured the $9.97 ones were all gone. I'm going back as soon as I get off work.

I felt like I was stealing them. I got 3, alpha bubble, sunset, mac n cheese, and to beat all, I was able to use 2 50% off coupons and a 40% off coupon. Total for the 3 sets 16.75 ( normally 472.50 w/. tax). GOTTA TO LOVE THAT DEAL. Many thanks to the original poster!

One of my M's said they had not downloaded the price changes yet. I would double check with the manager.

I envy all you ladies who got the great deal!!!! But very happy for you. One close to me was marked 69.99, had it scanned and that was the price. Manager would make no exceptions even though another Michael's 30 minutes from them had them for 9.97!!! (They just didn't have the ones i wanted) They also NEVER let you use coupons on sale items of any sort - very strict in our area!! Oh well......I may keep checking. Have fun with 'em!!

We aren't allowed to use coupons on clearance items either (unless it is one of those 10% off 'everything' coupons they have once in a while). Our alphabets where marked $39.99 a few weeks ago, I can check the nxt time I am able to go next week.
Thanks for the heads up ladies!

I went today to our Michaels and got 4 sets of alphabets. I went in twice so I was able to get two of them with 50% off coupons. I might print out another coupon and go tomorrow for another set. You can't beat it for $5 or $10 without a coupon.

Went to Michaels today and found three of them Boxed Brush, Endless Love and I think it is called Girlie Girl (not right near me). I wanted the Bubble one too but they only had the case out but none were available. I am going to try another one tomorrow. Not able to use the coupon but amazing deal nonetheless. Joanns has some online for about $40 but the Michaels deal is so amazing. Going out again tomorrow to do some more searching. Thank you for sharing!!!

I lucked out! I went to my Michael's yesterday after work to look for the alpha-sets on sale. They were on sale - all $9.97 each. But each and every one of the hooks was EMPTY! I thought "I knew it - too late." But just in case, I asked the young lady working in the scrapbooking department if there were more in the back or... and she said, "Oh, the extras are in this overstock area" and led me there. She had to use the ladder to get to the pegs way up above the paper racks. She asked me which I wanted and my answer, of course, was one of each! I got seven sets! I couldn't believe my luck after all!
I got:
Funky Brush
Curlie Girlie
Endless Love
Mac N Cheese
Garden Delight
Sunset
Alpha Bubbles
All for a measly $70! Can you believe it?? (Doing the happy dance!)

I went yesterday and got 4 out of the 7 that you got also. I have rat-a-tat that is like the Alph Bubbles one,but I was thinking of going today to get the Funky Brush and Mac N Cheese if they still have them. I used a 50% off coupon on 2 of the sets that I got yesterday and could do that today too. I think I might. I figure if they still have them then I was ment to have them...LOL! Like you said, you can't beat the price.....

I went and looked yesterday & couldn't find them anywhere. I'll have to check another store in my area. All was not lost, I ran into a stamping friend I haven't seen in over a year!

I went to get just one set and the specific one I wanted was gone. The lady in back of me in line had the rest of the display cages and was buying up what they had left....and was using a 50% coupon for each of them--she was buying several of each. (Her whole family was with her.)
I'll bet they are headed to Ebay.....

I went back to the one that still had tons for 69.99 and between yesterday afternoon and today they had been marked to the 9.97 - none left though. And as I was checking out, an employee in front of me was checking out. She had a ton of them in her cart and was ringing each one up individually to get the 50% off coupons for next week. I was a little irked, but then realized that's a benefit of being an employee. I'll bet they're going to ebay as well. It just wasn't meant to be for me either. Enjoy them, ladies!

Today I was able to pick up Endless Love, Sunset, and Funky Brush for $9.97 each. I was able to get 50% off one of the sets. W00t!
The cashier asked me, "Aren't these usually like $100?" I answered, "Yes, $150, so I couldn't pass them up!" She said she didn't blame me.

I went back today and got 3 more sets. They are the ones I passed up yesterday. I thought more about them and said for the price how could I pass them up. I was able to use 50% off coupons for all 3 since I had 2 of my sons with me. There are still some left. I have all that they have now though. Ebay did pass in my mind....but its not worth it right now to get them and put them on there.

Yes, but it saddens me when those of us who really only wanted 1 set miss out because of the greed of others. What's that saying--"What comes around, goes around"?

I got an extra Funky Brush if anyone is looking. Just pay the $11 plus shipping. I'll go back to Mikes tomorrow and see if they have any others left if you want to let me know what youre looking for.

Well, I made a run to Michaels to see if they had any left and the girl told me they sold the last 5 about an hour ago. Bummer...so all I have extra is the Funky Brush. Sorry guys.
