Default Fundraiser for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Hi All! I could use some assistance. I am in the process of raising $2000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I have a web site for taking donations. It is: http://www.active.com/donate/tntdms/tntdmsLGans

I am also looking for ideas on what I else I can do to raise money for them. I am a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and would love to hear some ideas on what you think I could do to raise the money that involves stamping. Any ideas is appreciated. I am looking for low cost ideas where all profits would be donated.

Thanks.

Lora

Default Ideas

I don't know if this would work, but it worked for my church. If you wanted to hold an auction. Everyone was asked to decorate a "bag" (Any kind of bag) and to place something in it to be auctioned off. My friend and I did Candle Stamping on the humongous Wax Luminaries from Michaels. I used Simple sketches on the White Luminary and my friend used Fall Whimsy on and Off-White one. We actually stamped and EMBOSSED with Gold EP on the tissue and then colored with Radiant Pearls. The images kind of spiraled up the outside. Highlighted with Diamonds glitter glue. We included scented votives for inside. We decorated the outside of the bags to go with the luminaries and tied off with bows to match.

They auctioned off at $50 and $60 each.

You might get together with some stamping buddies and do some of these and some paint cans filled with soaps, pens, cards, etc.

Maybe if your committe had an auction with members, etc. doing this or if you had a sale somewhere for these items.

HTH,
Shirley
