I've been published for the first time!
 

I hope this is okay to post here...didn't know where else it would go.
I got the mail today and in it was a copy of Stampers' Sampler. Well, I don't subscribe anymore so I was a bit confused. Then I remembered that I had sent in about 10 cards about 6 months ago. I hadn't heard from them and assumed that I 'didn't make the cut'. Well, can I just say that I was estatic when I saw my card on page 13?!?! It really wasn't one of the best cards I had sent in so I was surprised to see that this is the one that made it, but hey...I'll take it :D
Now I know this is small potatoes to some people here because there are some extremely talented people who are published all the time, but I gotta say that I'm on cloud 9 because I've never been published before! Thanks for letting me toot my own horn :D

Congratulations, Kelli! Perhaps you'll see some of the others you sent in future issues. They hold onto them for quite a while if you didn't request them to be returned.

Isn't it funny that they didn't select the card you thought was best? Sometimes when I'm submitting I'll just toss an extra card in there... and they take that 'extra' one rather than the ones I thought were good. It's so subjective.
